The cat let out a purr, and it fell asleep on his lap soon after.

Since what happened yesterday, Simon hasn't cooked anything for himself yet. He was hungry; he was also very confused on why he slept really well last night.
It was the kind of sleep that was so peaceful and relaxing, he couldn't remember any dreams or stirrings.
He yawned, stretched, then got out from the couch. The windows were casting beams of yellow sunlight.
However, the first thing he realized after he got up is that: the house was in a really messy state; plus the cat who followed him last night was g o n e.
"What the-"
Before he could finish his words, he heard a sound of a cat screeching outside his backyard.
'Ugh, what is it again now...'
The brown cat he found last night was currently rolling on the ground, trying to catch the butterfly with its paws, and meowing ferociously.
He couldn't help but think that the kitty is really adorable, aww🐈💕
The cat rushed to him once he saw Simon and let out a happy meow~
Simon patted it on the head and smiled warmly.
Others never saw that warm smile of his, not even Sam, or his parents.
It was 7:00 am. His manager, Sam is supposed to contact him by now to tell him the news of his auditions and his daily schedules. He then rushed to clean up the house; 'OH GOD THE HOUSE LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN ATTACKED BY A CATEGORY 3 HURRICANE', he thought. He then showered and made some breakfast, he doesn't want to be late for work.
While preparing the ingredients to make some pancakes, the cat looked Simon at the eyes sadly.
"Ah, you must be hungry too, i almost forgot about that!" he chuckled.
He raided his fridge and found that the only thing left there is some milk; he poured some on his bowl and put it on the floor next to the cat.
The cat just stared dumbly at the bowl of milk, puzzled.
"Hmm?"
The cat then stared at Simon with its innocent blue eyes.
"Ah.... so you don't drink cheap milk... How fancy are you exactly?" he stuttered.
Well, the milk he gave for the cat to drink right now is the cheapest brand from the grocery store, he hasn't got his salary for this month yet:(
The cat tilted its head, and seemed to understand Simon's mind, it gulped down the milk and immediately finished the whole bowl.
Simon smiled and continued to cook his breakfast.

After he finished his meal, his phone suddenly rang very loudly; it must be a call from Sam.
"Yes, hello Sam?"
"Simon!" Sam exclaimed excitedly. "Good news! You're invited to attend the actors gathering party later this week. You don't know, all the famous actors and actresses will be attending it too! Ahhhh im so excited, i will definitely ask for their autographs !" Sam started blabbering non-stop.
"Mhm."
"Well, aren't you excited?" Sam asked. "This is a once- in-a- lifetime opportunity to boost your popularity!"
"Kind of..." Simon replied nonchalantly.
"Great! I will send you informations about it as soon as i got them."
The call ended.
'Hmm, the actors gathering party... famous actors and actresses... will that Zhang Zhehan guy be attending that event too?' he couldn't help but think.
He will surely give the guy a kick at the butt if he actually attended it. How dare he keeps stealing his limelight in like, literally every audition he auditioned for.
