OK so, little things you need to know for my book, so that things don't seem a bit weird or unusual for the characters in these oneshots.

Kanto: 10, duh
Johto: still 10
Hoenn: nearly 11 but still 10
Sinnoh: 11
Unova: 11
Kalos: 11 nearly 12
Alola: turns 12
Journeys: 12
(I headcanon each league taking place every 2-4 months)
Extra pieces:
He can understand certain pokemon talking (Pikachu, Litten, Lycanroc, ect.) but only if he has a bond with them.
School starts at 9am and ends at 2:30pm (since they're young and its Alola)
He thinks Goh is a bit weird for his dream but doesn't say anything.
He has nightmare atleast once a week.
He knows all the native languages bug mainly speaks Unovan as its the most known language, other than Kalosian.
His full name is Satoshi Ash Ketchum
Pikachu:
Level: In Alola I hc him as level 60 as he is on par with Tapu Koko or a Nihilego
Other things:
He can sense Ash's emotions and sometimes feels them himself.
He'll spark if he things someone is untrustworthy
He likes scratches behind his ears and under his chin
He hates his tail being touched
he's very overprotective over Ash, and if a stranger comes too close He'll climb around onto Ash's chest and growl
