“Are you already there?” The person who I was currently in a call with asked. 

“Yes. What is this thing you want to give me that you have to personally give it to me?” I asked.

I then heard the person giggled and answered, “It’s a surprise.” I sighed. 

“It’s cold outside. Go inside the apartment. You know the password for the gate right?” The person asked.

“Yes. Is there anyone at the apartment?” I asked. I heard her humming and answered, “My parents should be home by now.” 

“Really?! Wah! I haven’t seen them for so long.” I stated. The person chuckled and said, “Faster go inside! I don’t want you to get sick.”

I gleefully smiled and said, “Yes granny.” I ended the call before she was able to say anything because I know she will scream and I still want to be able to hear things.

I entered the passcode for the gate and made my way to Nayeon’s parents' apartment. Ever since the trip to Hawaii, I have been close in touch with them but because of my hectic schedule I haven't had the chance to visit them.

I finally reached their apartment and pressed the doorbell. After a few seconds of waiting, the door opened. It was Nayeon’s mom who opened it. I greeted her and she was taken aback but managed to greet back.

She opened the door for me and I went inside. “I didn’t know you were coming. I could have made something for you.” She stated. I chuckled and waved my hand in disagreement. “I won’t be staying long. I had to meet my members later.” 

She nodded her head and weakly smiled. She led me to the living room in which her husband was seated on the couch while watching something on the television. The moment he noticed me, he quickly stood up and walked towards me.

I brought my hand to let him shake it but instead I was met with a hug. I chuckled. Nayeon’s father is a completely different person once you get to know him. I’m still intimidated by him but not as much as before. 

We both let go of each other. “What brings you here?” He asked. “Noona wanted to give me something.” I answered. He nodded his head. My heart skipped a beat when we heard Nayeon’s mom raise her voice.

“It must be the one that was delivered earlier on.” She stated. “I put it in Nayeon’s room.” She added and motioned me to follow her. The moment I saw Nayeon’s room I concluded that she hasn’t been using it for quite a while.

Nayeon’s mom apologised for the mess and said, “She hasn’t used this room for a while because she’s living with the girls at their dorm.” I nodded my head. I noticed a box in the middle of the room. It must be the one Nayeon ordered.

She was about to pick it up and when we heard her husband said, “Yeobo! You forget the food that you're cooking.” Her eyes quickly widened and exited Nayeon’s room to attend to it. I shook my head and chuckled.

I then took the chance to explore Nayeon’s room. I have only been here four to five times and I have never seen her room before. I walked towards the table in her room and saw a picture frame with her baby photo inside.
