Mrs. Von Trapp? (Friderich Von trapp x female OC)

Chapter two

I was sitting at the dinner table with the Von Trapps waiting for Maria to come, it was an uncomfortable silence, I was sitting at the end next to Louisa and where Maria was supposed to sit.

Then Maria comes running in and says hello to everyone and then sits down. But she jumps right up again. A pine cone. Gosh these kids.

"Enchanting a little ritual, something you um, learned at the abbey?" Captain asked, I just rolled my eyes

Maria sits down and everyone starts eating, I was waiting to thank the lord. I looked at Maria and she said:

"Excuse me, Captain, haven't we forgot to thank the lord?" She asks

"Thank him for what?" He asks,

"What do you think Captain huh, just think real hard" I said, everyone just sat and looked at me in shock even the Captain.

Maria started praying: "for what we may receive, may the lord make us truly thankful, amen"

"Amen" we all repeated, then continued eating

"I'd like to thank each and every one of you for the precious gift you left in my pocket today earlier today" Maria said referring to the frog. The children glanced at each other and looked down.

"Um, what gift?" The Captain asked

"It's meant to be a secret between us Captain" I said

"Uh-huh, I suggest you keep it and let us eat" he responded.

"Knowing how nervous we must have been, strangers in a new household, knowing how important it must have been for Lia and me to feel accepted, it was so kind and thoughtful of you to make our first moments here so warm and happy and pleasant" Maria looked at me and smiled

Then Marta started crying

"What's the matter Marta?" The captain asked confused

"Nothing"

The I heard crying next to me, now Louisa was crying, me and Friedrich exchanged concerned looks. Then the rest started crying, it was only Liesl, Friedrich, Maria, captain and I who wasn't crying.

"Fräulein, is it to be at every meal, or merely at dinner time, that you intend leading us all through this rare and wonderful new world of indigestion?" The Captain asked Maria

"Don't worry Captain, they're just happy" she said, which only made them cry harder.

Time skips

I was just done getting ready for bed, I then walked into Maria's room to pray, it was raining like crazy, it was thunder and lighting too. Maria and I kneel down and start to pray,

"Dear father, now I know why you sent Ophelia and me here, to help these children prepare for their new mother. And we pray that this will become a happy family in thy sight. God bless the captain, God bless Liesl and Friedrich, God bless Louisa, Brigitta, Marta and little Gretl. And, oh, forgot the other boy, what's his name?" I knew she was struggling so I said "Kurt" she continued "oh yes, god bless Kurt"

Right then I hear some commotion behind me, it's Liesl, she's sneaking through the window.

She sees and me and runs to the door, but Maria stops her:

"And Liesl, help her to know that Ophelia and I are her friends and help her tell us what she's been up to."

"Are you gonna tell on me?" She asks concerned

"Shh, help me to be understanding so that Lia and I may guide her footsteps, in the name of the Father, and of the son, and the Holy Ghost, amen"

"Amen"
