Chapter 5 - Edelweiss
I was confused - "uh which song dear?"
"The one you were singing on the boat" she said
'Did she hear me? Oh gosh'
"Oh you weren't supposed to hear that" I said while laughing a little
"But- it was so beautiful, please Ophelia, will you play it?" She gave me the puppy eyes
"Play what?" The Captain asked
"Oh just a song I was singing earlier, nothing special" I said a little nervous
"What is the name of this song miss Ophelia?" He asked in a scary polite tone
"Oh uh it's Called 'edelweiss' sir"
"Why don't you play it for us now? My daughter seemed to enjoy it" he said
"I- I suppose I can" I was so nervous, not only was it I front of the children, but also the baroness and Captain von Trapp
Liesl handed me the guitar and I sat down on a chair nearby, and slowly started playing
*if you want to pretend your doing it go to Lauryn Marie's cover it's beautiful*
When I was done it was so quiet, I looked up, everyone was looking at me, was it bad?
"That- that was amazing.." Brigitta said quietly
They slowly started clapping for me. I bowed and thanked them.
"What we're you so nervous about, you're amazing" Friedrich said, I felt my face heat up, and of course this little shi- I mean kid, Marta couldn't shut up.
"Why is your face so red Ophelia?" She asked
"Oh uh I s-suppose it's the heat" I said almost shaking.
"Right, the heat from Friedrich" Louisa said
Gosh how bad I wanted to choke her right there, I just stared at her, then I felt Friedrich slowly grabbing my hand and he whispered in my ear "follow me" so I did
We went outside, and he walked me to this beautiful flower garden behind the house, still holding my hand
"Oh wow.." I said, I was speechless
"Pretty beautiful huh" he said showing his beautiful smile
"Yeah" I mumbled
"Why did you show me this?" I asked him
"Oh no special reason, just thought you would like it" he said
We both turned around, now facing each other. I felt his face closer to mine, we were inches away from our lips touching, when we heard someone coming. We both tuned around to see Liesl and Louisa, they were trying to hide.
"Uhm we're not stupid" I said looking over at them
They stood up and looked at us with a smile
"Oh hi, we uh we- " they started
"Are you trying to spy on us?" Friedrich asked
"Wha- no, no of course not" Louisa said, she wasn't the best liar at times
"Then why are you here?" I ask with a tiny smirk on my face.
"We- uh- we just heard something coming for here and we-"

Ok so I'm finally back.
I just want to remind you that this story was written in July 2021 (I copy it from my notes) so it might be a little or very cringe. Also there's not much left of the story
