Here they were, outside in the cold rain. As each drop of water from the sky hits the ground, trees, or even anybody, Neo and Krystal just stared at each other.

Neo got a closer look at the blue fox girl. She was beautiful in every word. But her expression and the black eye tells him she went through something horrible. But how did she get a black eye? And why was she out here in the rain? He had to know. But first thing's first.

Neo knelled till his eyes meet hers. "Krystal. Let's get you inside."

Krystal didn't respond to that. She just remained silent. Neo didn't have time to wait as the downpour was starting to get worse and lighting can be seen from the distance. As he reached towards Krystal, she backed up a bit while gasping. It's as if she was afraid. Afraid that he would do something bad. Neo tried again, same result. Neo sighed and continued to look at her.

"It's ok. I'm not gonna hurt you. I promise." Neo promised her, hoping that she would come inside. After a minuted of trying to study Neo, the blue fox then tried to get up, only to wince in pain. Neo saw this and helped her up. Holding her so that she can up caused her to whimper a bit. Neo felt terrible for her. "We'll take it easy."

After a slow walk, they made it back inside the house right before the rain pounded harder than ever. Neo was glad, but he also felt a bit cold from the rain. He figured she might have felt the same way. And seeing her shiver confirmed it. The only problem is that he didn't have any clothes she can wear except for regular underwear and a tall shirt for sleeping. But she would need to take her wet clothes off. Neo tried not to think of any dirty thoughts as he was trying not to make this any more awkward than is already is. First thing Neo did was helping Krystal sit on a couch where he placed a dry blanked on. He then got another warm blanket for her to wrap herself around to keep warm. She did get a bit jumpy when Neo got close and tried to cover her up. But Neo continued to reassure her that it will be ok. And when he promised he won't hurt her, she slowly but surely warmed up to him.

"H...h..." Krystal tried to speak. Neo was listening, wondering what she's going to say next. "H...hun...hungry."

"Want some food and a drink?" Neo asked. Krystal slowly nodded in response. Neo was so glad they were making progress.

He went into the kitchen and got some Chicken Noddle Soup ready along with some water. While the noddles were cooking, he brought a glass of water to her. She then chugged it down fiercely without any delay, shocking Neo completely. After she was done, she handed it to him and asked for another. He did so and it was the same.

"How long have you been without water?" He asked curiously. Krystal didn't replay. Neo sighed right before the soup was ready. He grabbed the bowl with a towel and handed it to Krystal with a spoon. She looked at it for a good while still looking confused. The warm scent of the flavor was reaching her nostrils, causing her stomach to growl loudly. She then took a spoonful and started to eat slowly. Then she started to eat faster and faster. She was making sure she didn't burn herself of course, but Neo was still speechless about this.

After Krystal was finished, she looked at him. Her eyes, once filled with fear and despair, are now filled with hope and desperation. "Can...Can I take a bath?"

"Of course." Neo said. "Let me take you there."

After a slow walk, Neo was getting the warm water ready for her. As he was doing so, she was taking her shirt off right in front of him. Normally he would blush and look away, but the thing that kept him was not the bra or her back, but the black bruises oh her. And it looked fresh! Neo knew he didn't nor couldn't do that to her. Who or what could have?
