Secrets and Trust

Neo and Stan were walking home from the youth center after a successful day taking out Wolf and Bowser. It was an hour before sunset and they tried to rush home. Stan's house was just around the next street at the end, and Neo's house was a mile away.

"You know, I can have my mother take you back to your house." Stan offered.

"That's ok." Neo said. "I know my way around the streets now and trust me, there's a shortcut. I'll-"

"STOP!" Screamed a voice from the other side of the street. Stan instantly recognized the voice and rushed towards it. Neo followed him and soon enough, they stopped to see what was happening: Loona, the same wolf girl Stan met, is being cornered by a muscular teen with long blond hair, and apparently doesn't know any manners.

"Come on, babe." Said the pervert. "You and I can make a great couple."

"Screw you! You just want my pants off!" Loona protested as she tried to leave.

The pervert grabbed her arm and yanked her tail, causing her to yelp in pain. "You really are one tough girl to date. No wonder no one likes you. But don't worry. I'll take good care of you." After pinning her to the wall, he was reaching to take her jeans off. Stan saw this and felt intense rage. Neo too was outraged, but his anger paled in compassion to Stan's unusual emotion.

Neo and Stan rushed and jumped kicked the guy away from Loona, thus freeing her. She looked up to see it was the same boy she meet a few days ago along with another she's never meet before.

"Hey jerk! Don't you know how to treat a lady!?" Neo shouted at the pervert as he stood back up from the kicks he took.

"Back off, dude! That wolf is mine!" The pervert flipped them off.

Stan suddenly charged at him with blinding speed and started beating him up senselessly. Neo and Loona were shocked to see Stan like this, he continued beating up the guy over and over again even when the pervert is knocked out. Neo rushed towards and grabbed his arm.

"STAN! STOP!" Neo begged Stan. Stan turned around as about to attack when he stopped and saw Neo and Loona. The 2 got a closer look at his eyes: Bloodshot and constricted. After a few seconds, Stan closed his eyes and opened them, showing their back to normal. Neo was worried. What was happening to Stan?

"Stan?" Loona asked as she got closer to him.

Stan sighed and smiled. "Sorry. I'm...I'm ok. Are you alright?"

"I am, thanks to you and your friend." She then turns to Neo. "Who are you?"

"Neo Phoenix. Are you friends with Stan?"

"Just meet at Sunset Haven. I'm Loona Hound."

"Nice to meet you."

"Likewise."

Loona got her phone and called the police to turn over this sexual offender to them. They arrived later on and they took Loona to her home, which was on Stan's street but at the other far end. He felt so stupid for not knowing this sooner or later.

"Say um, Loona. What school are you going to?" Stan asked.

"Bevertin High." Loona answered.

"Oh." Stan sighed. "So...you're not in Nintendo High?"

"No. But next year I will."

""Really? I mean...cool." Stan was staring at Loona. She was beautiful, even with the glow of the sun hitting her silver fur. He was starting to blush over this.
