Wakko's POV

Venice. A beautiful city of canals. But we're not here to admire the scenery. We're here to find the Tomb of a Knight that has the second Marker. I just hope the Italians aren't as bad as the Germans are to us. We step off the boat onto the pier. Before we find the Tomb, we need to find Dr. Schneider, who is our only lead.

Normal POV

"Ahh... Venice," Jones said as they stepped off the boat. "How will we recognize this Dr. Schneider when we see him?" Brody asked. "I don't know," Indy replied. "Maybe he'll know us." "Definitely a possibility," Yakko agreed.

"Well... it could be..." Wakko was about to say when a female voice called out: "Dr. Jones?" "...A she..." Wakko finished and the five turned around to find a lady with blonde hair, and gray coveralls covering a shirt. "Yes?" Indy replied. "I knew it was you, you have your father's eyes," the lady said. "And my mother's ears," Indy joked, "but the rest belongs to you." "Looks like the best parts have already been spoken for."

Yakko and Wakko noticed how beautiful she was, and as a result, they fawned and jumped straight toward her with glee. "HELLO-OOOOO NURSE!" they said in unison. Dot just facepalmed because her brothers had done this for the umpteenth time. "Boys..." she sighed.

"Ahh, you two must be the Warner Brothers Dr. Jones was talking about." Dr. Schneider said. "We are, Doc," Yakko replied proudly. "Don't forget the Warner Sister!" Dot called. "Name's Yakko, by the Way." The eldest said. "I'm Wakko," Wakko said with a big smile. "My name's Dot," said the sister. "Forgive my brothers. They just love women." "Nice to meet you three," the Doctor replied. "My name's Elsa, by the way.

Elsa then turned to Marcus. "Marcus Brody?" she asked. "That's right," Brody replied. "Dr. Elsa Schneider," she said. "How do you do?" Brody asked, shaking her hand.

Soon, the six were walking along the footpaths that followed the canals. "Jones, The last time I saw your father, we were in the library," Elsa explained. "He was very close to tracking down the Knight's tomb." She chuckled. "I've never seen him so excited. He was as giddy as a schoolboy."

"Who? Attila the professor?" Indy asked. "He was never giddy, even when he was a schoolboy." He grabbed a white rose from a local Florist. "Fraulein, do you permit me?" Indy asked, handing Elsa the Rose. "I usually don't," Elsa replied. "I usually don't either," Indy said.

"In that case, I permit you," Elsa replied. "It would make me very happy," Indy said. "But I'm already sad. By tomorrow, it would have already faded," Elsa said. "Tomorrow I'll steal you another," Indy said.

"I hate to interrupt you," Marcus interjected, "but the reason we're here..." "Yes," Elsa interrupted. "I have something to show you." Then she gave Indy a scrap of paper. "I left your father working in the library. He sent me to the map section to fetch an ancient plan of the city." "Probably Ancient Venice," Yakko whispered to his brother. "No doubt about that," Wakko confirmed.

"When I got back to his table, he'd gone," Elsa continued, "with all his papers, except for that scrap, which I found near his chair. Indy looked at it and showed it to his friends. "What are those?" asked Dot and Wakko. "Roman Numerals," Indy replied. "Like the ones you might find on a grandfather clock," Yakko explained. "I=1, V=5, and X=10."

Soon, they approached a big building. "Here is the Library," Elsa said. "That doesn't look much like a library," Indy replied. "Looks like a converted church," Marcus mused.
