Adira, age 21, is pulled into Middle Earth. When she agrees to go on a quest with the fellowship to save the world, her story takes a dark turn. This is a Legolas Fan-Fiction like no other. Demons, elements, orcs, gods, love, magic, and more. Hope...
As we continued on our way, I grew more and more comfortable with out group. Frodo would not relent when it came to making fun of me about, well, you know. As it turns out, Sam is extremely kind, and he makes great stew. Merry and Pippin remind me of two middle schoolers with their constant name calling and pranks. I still hate Borimir, although he has stopped being so perverted. Aragorn is nice enough, and mostly keeps to himself, and Legolas, well, we rarely speak.
"Let us go through the Mines of Moria!" Gimli says, "my cousin will give us a dwarvish welcome!" "I will not take that path unless I have no other choice." Gandalf said and walked off muttering to himself. Well, that was the end of that discussion. I glanced at Legolas, who looked at me and shrugged a little before we set back off.

Here is what I imagine Adira's outfit to look like.
Now we're walking up a mountain. I gripped my cloak and pulled it tighter around me. My entire body was freezing. I tried not to fall over as a strong wind blew. I stumbled back a little bit, and my foot sunk into the snow. I felt the snow slowly go into my boot. "Crap!" I said, and tried to pull it back out. Then another wave of wind blew and I started to fall backwards. With my foot being stuck in the snow, I couldn't try to balance myself. Just then I felt a pair of arms grab me from behind and push me back upright! "Careful!" Legolas yelled over the roaring wind. "Come on, we need to keep moving!" He said after taking a few steps and realized I wasn't next to him. "My foot is stuck!" I yelled. Legolas walked back to me, and grabbed my waist. "Wait-." Before I could finish my sentence, Legolas had pulled me out of the snow and gently stood me up. "Don't lean so much on the fronts of your feet." He said leaning in close to me so I could hear him. "Try to distribute your weight, that way you won't sink into the snow." "Are you calling me fat!" I yelled at him over the wind. He looked at me and blinked before leaning back in and saying, "What no! You need to evenly distribute your weight if you don't want to sink! Look." He said, and pointed to his feet. "Oh." I said. Legolas's was standing perfectly on top of the snow. His boots weren't even sinking into the snow a inch. I tried as best as I could to do exactly as Legolas had said, and it worked a little. "It just takes practice." Legolas said. "Now let's go." We walked quickly to catch up with the others. "Stay close!" Legolas said, as we reached the top of the mountain. "What?!" I yelled, as another cold blast hit us. Then I heard Gandalf start chanting, and Legolas backed us up till our backs were against the snow on the side of the mountain. "Its Sauraman! He's trying to bring the mountain down!" Legolas yelled. Just then the snow started to fall. "Oh shit!" I yelled. It was like everything happened in slow motion. Just before the snow hit us, Legolas grabbed me and pulled me into his chest. I wrapped my arms around his back and healed on for dear life. Then the snow hit. We were instantly buried. I tried to move, but with no luck. Legolas on the other hand, had already gotten his head and neck out of the snow, I however could not. I felt his arms tighten around me, and he pulled me up. My head came out of the snow, and I gasped for air. "Are you okay?" Legolas yelled over the wind. "Y-yes!" I said, still breathing heavily. "We must turn back!" Gimli yelled. "We must go through the mines!" "We'll let Frodo decide." Gandalf yelled back. "The mines!" Frodo yelled. "We'll go through the mines." "So be it." Gandalf said, and I saw a flicker of sadness on his face.
TIME SKIP
Finally we had reached the mines. I sat down on the ground, my feet were killing me. After Gandalf failed at opening the door, I realized we were going to be here awhile. I took my boots off, and set them on the ground, hoping that they would maybe dry a little. I walked over to the water and walked in, so that it was over my ankles. The water felt nice on my sore feet. Just then a rock flew over my head. I spun around, and saw Pippin picking up rocks to throw. "What the heck Pippin!" I yelled. "Sorry, sorry!" He said. "Guess my aim was a little off." "Best not disturb the water Pippin." Aragorn said. I sighed looked over to Legolas. He was sitting exactly where I had been, and my boots were at his feet. Why is he sitting there? I wondered. "Wait! It's a riddle!" Frodo said. "Gandalf, what's the elvish word for friend?" "Mellon." Gandalf said. And that, the door opened. I quickly walked out of the water, and over to Legolas to grab my boots. Legolas was already standing, with his bow in one hand, and my boots on the other. "Here." He said, and I took them from him. I tried not to blush, while he stood there. Is he waiting for me? I wondered. As soon as I finished, we started walking into the mines together. Just then, a giant tentacle wrapped around my waist and pulled me back. "Ahhhhhhh!" I screamed, as I struggled in the lake creatures grasp. "Adira!" Legolas yelled, and started running out of the cave along with the others. I tried to wiggle out of the creatures tentacle, but that only made it tighten its grip on me. I tried to catch a breath, but it was hard, as the creature was squishing my stomach and lungs. Legolas shot at the creature, ran and jumped up its arms till he reached me. "Grab my hand." He said, and I did. "Hold on!" He said, and brought his sword down, cutting off the tentacle. I dealt it fall from around me, but then I also started to fall. I shrieked, and grabbed onto Legolas's other hand, and he pulled me up. Aragorn finally stabbed the creature, and it shrunk back in pain. "Jump!" Legolas said, and we jumped together onto the ground. "Run!" Merry and Pippin yelled, as we booked it into the cave. Just then, a bunch of rocks fell, crushing the creature, but also trapping us with no light inside.
Sorry this took me so long to write! I had PSAT's this week, and that was super stressful. I hope you liked this chapter, and yes, I know it isn't exactly like the movie. Like I mess up in the quotes a lot, and forget who does what most of the time. 😂 I hope this was still good though, it took me awhile to write. Pls vote and let me know what you think!
