I woke up to complete darkness
Today is the day I'm gonna try and make it up with Parker
I opened my curtains and changed into decent clothes
I brushed my teeth and grabbed my backpack
I walked outside with my skateboard and walked over to joeys thinking of what I'm gonna say
"Hey Parker how's it going?...that's stupid"
"So how do you feel about the weather today kingsley?.. this is not an interview"
"Do you think we can maybe start over?.. I sound like a fucking baby" I sighed as I got to joeys
Seeing Parker skate by like she didn't notice me
"Hey pat"
"Hey man"
"You still down?"
"No I'm gonna try and make it up with her Today but I don't know what I'm gonna say.."
"Just be like can we just start over again?" Joey tilted his head
"I was thinking about it but I sound like a baby soo-" I dragged the 'o'
"Well it's fine because you are a baby-" Anthony chuckled
"Shut up!"
"Come on,you'll figure it out on the way"
We started walking to school
When we got there
I saw Parker at her locker as some guy was next to her holding a clip board
"Who is that!" I scrunched my face
"Oh him? Don't worry it's just one of the dance geeks trying to get people to help raise money"
I sighed as we split off to our lockers
I walked up to mine over hearing Parker's conversation
"So what's it for?"
"It's just a fundraiser to help us get enough money to buy actual matching suits"
"Oh ok yeah sure!" She grabbed the pen and signed it
"Thanks park-uhh see you in math!"
"Bye!" She waved and went back to putting books in her locker
I cleared my throat
I saw her glance over at me then roll her eyes
"Look Parker-"
"I don't wanna talk-"
"I know, you don't wanna talk to me but you can just listen ok?"
She sighed
Almost there I got this!
"Soo I know that over the past few days I might've not really stuck around with you or-" she scoffed "or not telling you that 'I made out with girls'. " I put quotations up
"But I was thinking if maybe you'd wanna start over?" I scratched the back of my neck
"I'd like that.." she smiled at me as I returned it
"So your not mad at me for leaving you?-"
"No I'm still a bit upset but I'll talk to you again"
Thank gosh
"Wanna walk to class?"
"Sure" she smiled
We walked to math as the bell rang
