i was peacefully asleep before three muskrats barged in my room jumping on my bed
"get up! get up! get upp!" joey comes beside me holding my shoulders yelling in my ear
"okay okay!"
i quickly get up as they all jump off my bed
"how'd you sleep?"
patrick looks at me smiling laughing a bit
"shut up"
"what'd you guys come here for this early"
"it's the last week of school silly!"
"okay?"
"we have field day, no backpacks, and no school work we're literally going to school for fun activities"
"yep! so hurry up and get dressed we'll be downstairs-"
"eating those bomb ass pancakes your mom made"
they go downstairs as i roll my eyes looking for clothes changing into some loose jeans and a brown sweatshirt with my chucks
i fix my hair in the bathroom mirror brushing my teeth
"so no backpack?.."
i look at my backpack kicking it aside getting my phone and running downstairs seeing them all huddled up eating from a plate
i go over to them seeing it was my food
"wow didn't save me any"
"calm down ma'am, prince charming here, saved you some toast"
patrick turns to me handing me a price of toast with nutella sloppily spread on it
"thanks" i smile taking it
"now we're gonna be late"
"seriously let's go"
we rush out the door as i eat my toast on the way letting them all get a few bites
we get to school as i give patrick the rest of the toast as he eats it
we look around as most kids are riding around on scooters and skateboards in the halls, throwing things and making noise
"hey patrick sign my shirt?" this smiling girl comes up to us giving him a pen as she holds up her shirt
"i - yeah sure"
he writes his name with a little 'haVe a gReaT SumMeR'
she smiles and leaves
"you need to work on your writing that was absolutely horrible"
i cross my arms laughing trying not to show the fact that i was jealous
but it's fine you know why? i'm hanging out with patrick and she's not ha!

the bell rings as they laugh and we get to class sitting down
"alright class hope everyone is having a great last week of school morning?"
everyone starts clapping and cheering
"settle down settle down," everyone soon stops as he picks up a stack of papers
"since all the projectors for a movie are taken i have created crossword puzzles with each of your names, the first three people to find every name gets a piece of candy"
