{Vivians POV}

"Say cheese!" My mom shouts happily as I roll my eyes at her taking her hundredth photo of the night.

"If you keep taking pictures of us every 5 seconds, the place is gonna close before we even get there" I groan as my mom rolls her eyes.

"I can't believe your dad, the king, actually let you guys use one of his beautiful carriages to ride to prom" My mom says turning to Alejandro and his mate who decided to go to prom together with me and John tonight.

"My dad knew that I was gonna leave the castle to go with my mate to prom even if he tried to keep me locked up in my room, so instead of arguing with me this whole week, he decided to let me have my way tonight and use only two of his royal guards to drive us to prom in one of his special carriages tonight." Princess Phoebe says while happily squeezing Alejandro's arm.

"If the princess didn't pick me up before coming here, I would've got us one of my brother in law's limo. Just so it could be a special night for you and I" John whispers into my ear as I laugh before kissing his cheek.

It hasn't even been a full second of my lips touching his cheek before the bright flash of my mothers camera made me roll my eyes for the hundredth time tonight. Instead of just taking one picture of me and John in our prom outfits tonight, she's been taking hundreds of pictures of us every time we move a centimetre of our bodies at the same time.

"Can we just go already mom? Your camera storage is probably already full anyways. We needed to be there before 8 and it's already 8:45 now" I groaned seeing how late we were as she sighs before nodding.

"Fine, you guys can go now. Remember that you don't have a curfew tonight okay? You have fun and make sure that tonight is the best night of your lives" She says smiling at all four of us now standing in front of the front door ready to leave.

Alejandro and Phoebe were the first out the door, and when I was going to follow John out after them I was being pulled back into my house. Before I turned to see who grabbed me, I was engulfed into a pair of large tatted arms that I could recognize anywhere.

"You could've just took a picture with me and side hugged me while mom was taking thousands of pictures of me earlier" I mutter into my brothers large chest as it rumbled from him laughing at my words.

"Just wanted to be the best for last. With you being to busy getting dolled up by mom the whole day today and than your mate being glued to you for the past 2 hours mom managed to keep her hands off trying to make sure you look perfect, I just wanted to make sure I was the last person to say how much of a beautiful young woman my baby sister grew up to be" He explains while pulling away from our tight hug as I smiled happily up at him.

"Look, I know I haven't really been supportive of you and your mate for the past few months. I'm not saying I'm gonna welcome the dude with open arms right now, but I just want you to know that up until now, I honestly haven't seen you this happy since the day you found money under your pillow thinking it was from the tooth fairy" He continues as I laugh at the memory.

"Anyways, I'm not good at any of this apologizing and being all lovey dovey type of stuff. If your mate continues to put that bright smile I know and love on your face for the rest of your life, I might be able to tolerate the kid" He finishes off with a shrug before I slapped his arm making him laugh.

"Well that's all I've been wanting to say. Go have fun little sis" He adds on before pulling me into another tight hug.

A flash of bright light caught us off guard making us pull away from each other.

"I'm putting this one in a frame" My mother gasps excitedly looking down at her camera as we laughed at her expression.

With a pat on my head and a happy smile on his face, my brother let me walk out of the house to meet up with my mate who was still standing next to the open door of the carriage waiting for me to get in.
