I remember the days that we used to play together.
Maybe holding hands or each other.

I remember the days when we used to laugh.
That sound would now break my heart in half.

I remember the days we used to sing.
Now, I only see you stare at a forgotten ring.

I remember the days that we used to cry
Only now, those tears will always leave my eye.

I remember the days that we used to play
Only now, there are too many words we need to say.

I remember the days when we were happy.
Those memories are now seeming sappy.

I remember the days when I said I loved you.
Now, it's still the same, but we say it too few.

I remember those days and more too.
