Ch8. Spinel

-Narrator's POV-
The silhouette's finger transforms into a giant horn, and she blows it. The Legs of the pointed drill then emerge from the bottom of the ship.

"Move!" Garnet said as she scooped up Amethyst.

The Gems begin running from the ship as the ship's legs grip the sides of the hill.

The ship then thrusts itself forward, driving the drill into the ground of the hill as the Crystal Gems gasp in shock.

"Hey! Nice park job, dingus!" Amethyst shouted.

"Who the heck is that?" Y/n muttered.

"Not sure.." Steven muttered as well.

A pink liquid inside the ship begins to gurgles, as it cruises down the drill and into the ground.

The figure on the top of the ship before jumps down to the bottom, revealing to be a pink cartoony-looking Gem, with a gem shaped like an inverted heart in her chest.

Her gem flashes as she cackles and glowers down at the Crystal Gems.

"Well, well, well, well, well. Lemme get a look at the menagerie. You must be Amethyst. You must be Garnet. And Pink Diamond's Pearl. Wow, she took you with her. Isn't that just...swell?!" The pink gem said with anger.

"It can't be.."

"Oh! But it can be! And it is! I got a new style and a few new toys that are gonna put an end to your "happily ever after" once and for all!"

Steven stepped up. "Whoa, whoa. This has gotta be a misunderstanding. In case you haven't heard, We've established peace across the-"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've heard! I've had your little message to the universe... ON LOOP!" The pink Gem extends her leg and kicks Steven in the face, knocking him backwards.

Y/n helped Steven up with her shield in hand, Amethyst summons her whip, Pearl, the trident and Garnet, the gauntlets as they prepare for battle

"I just love that part, where Pink Diamond spends the rest of her days on this... nowhere planet... With... a bunch of... nobodies!"

The pink Gem uses her arms to spring herself down and bounces on the ground, as she begins to sing "Other Friends".

-skip to towards the end of the song-

The pink Gem pulls a scythe-like weapon out of her gem, jumps off the lighthouse and begins sticking it at the Crystal Gems.

"♫ Oh, that's right I heard the story
Over and over again,
Gee, it's swell to finally beat her other friends! ♫"

The pink Gem begins extending her body all around the Injector and the lighthouse, stretching her body to a tremendous degree. The Gems charge towards her as the pink Gem begin unwinding her body.

"♫ Oh, that's right, I heard the story,
Don't really like how it ends
Gee, it's swell to finally beat her other,
Other,
Other friends! ♫"

Y/n and Steven stood there in shock. the pink Gem slashes through Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl with the scythe, poofing their physical forms in one fell swoop.

They both watched in shock as their gemstones fall to the ground.
"That's enough!" Steven summoned his shield in defense.

"Aww..whats the matter, Steven? Miss your friends already?..well~ you're right behind them!"
The pink gem lunged at Steven with her scythe. Steven trying to defend himself with his shield but the scythe cut right threw and it hit Steven.

Steven shocked that not as much damage was done. " Ha! That was nothing!" He said confidently.

The pink gem chuckled. "I guess you don't mind if I do it again! And a again! And again! Hahahahaha!" The gem cackled as Steven fell to the ground.

The gem was about to strike him again but Y/n quickly pulled her shield out and managed to push the gem off him.

"You don't poof do you? What about you!?" Quickly, the gem sprung up and struck Y/n.

Y/n failed to dodge the attack and fell to the ground getting hit a few times.

"That's enough!" Steven caught the scythe.

"Just wait! You won't stand a chance against my injector! Not what I just did you your gem!~"

Steven confused. "What are you talking about!?"

"You weren't a powerful hero. Were. You? Hahahaha!" Steven hand enough and took the scythe and slashed the gem with it.

And poof. Her gem on the ground. Steven turned and helped y/n up.

"Better bubble her so she won't cause anymore trouble" y/n suggested.

Steven kneeled down. His bubble wasn't working. "Huh? Where's my bubble?"

"Let me try!" Y/n tried to bubble the gem but the same result happened.

Both siblings were confused. They didn't know what to do.

"I feel dizzy.."
"Gah!"

Nel then collapsed to the ground. The siblings look at her gem they saw the power was fading. But then it stopped.

"Damn it Y/n! You took the hit didn't you!" Nel shouted.

"Of course I did! I'm only human! I just got gem liquor in my blood. The hit won't affect me." Nel sighed.

Nel went back into Y/n and they both headed to the beach house.

Greg on his way.

Both siblings sat there shock on what just happened.

All four gems including the pink one were laid on the coffee table.
