I Guess I'm in Love

Marinettes POV

Marinette was at one of Luka's concerts in London with Chloe and Kagami as her plus ones. She was invited to come and watch him play, and watched him play from backstage.

Over the years Marinettes child-hood friends became distant from her. It then became them telling her insults or ruining her belongings. She then became friends with Chloe, who came back from her trip to New York with her mother. She continuously apologized to her of her childish actions and that she's more mature now.

Luka also started becoming popular as the years went by. He was noticed by Jagged bringing him to one of his concerts to play some of his music. To say the crowd loved him. From there he pursued his music career and starting going on tour. She had to be honest, she started having feelings for the musician. He helped her in so many ways that she didn't know what she could do to pay him back.

The lights dimmed and Marinette saw Luka walk on stage. They briefly made eye-contact and smiled at each other. Luka then turned back to the audience "Hello London!" The crowd was screaming and chanting his name.

He then laughed and spoke again "Ready for some music?" he asked. The crowd only had gotten louder that the three girls had to cover there ears. "Well before I begin I would like to say this song is dedicated to a very special person and they so happen to be here." he continued.

Chloe and Kagami then nudge Marinette with there elbows eyeing her. "Pfft please- you actually think the song is for me? I'm pretty sure he invited other people to." Marinette waved them off.

Chloe and Kagami then eyed each other giving each other a knowing look before saying unanimously "Whatever you say Mari." The music then started playing.

The performance then finished. Marinette couldn't help but think that those words were all directed towards her. Some of the words that he sand were the exact moments they had in there teen years. But it couldn't be her. Right?

The crowd went wild once it was finished. "Thank you London and Good night!" He said before making his way off stage.

Once he was off stage he gave Marinette a hug "Marinette! I'm glad you made it! How are you?"

"I'm doing well. Sorry I couldn't make it to your last performance. You know with work and doing all these commissions. But, that was amazing Luka. But I have to ask...who's the song for?" Marinette returned the hug.

Luka then let go of the hug. "Well you know the world needs MDC and there amazing clothing." He responded back then continued "and well...the song was for you. Marinette."

It was at this point where Marinette stopped working. She was red in the face. Everytime she opened her mouth no words were said. "Cʻmon Queenie lets leave the two love bugs alone. If you guys need us we will be by the food section." Kagami then took Chloe's hand and guided her away from the two.

"But Gami-" Chloe whined wanting to see how the situation would play out. Kagami then turned back and gave her a look. Chloe then pouted and let Kagami guide her to the food section.

Luka then turned his attention back to Marinette who was still processing this newfound information. "Marinette? Melody? Are you okay?" He then started shaking her shoulders.

That seemed to bring marinette back to earth and out of her imaginary world "hm? Uh...yes....I'm okay...maybe..I think...did I hear that correctly?" Or maybe she wasn't back to earth,but at least she was able to speak some words.

"Yes you did. That song was meant for you. I mean it when I say "I think I'm in love" because I really am in love. And that person is you melody." Luka replied caressing her cheek.

"But why me? There's thousands of girls out there who you can be in love with. I'm just a girl in whose a klutz and is a mess." Marinette said in a tone that made Luka's heart break. He hated when she would doubt herself.

"Melody, I love you. I have and always will love you. You're one of the most kindest selfless person I've ever met. You're the melody that's been playing in my head since the first time we've met. And with your permission I would like to call you my girlfriend."

Marinette couldn't help but smile at his words. "I love you to Luka. And I would be honored to be your girlfriend." She said as she leaned in to kiss him, eye lids half closed.

Luka smiled, leaning in as well for the kiss as well, eyes closed. When there lips touched it was like a burst of fireworks erupted in Marinettes stomach. They were both intoxicated with each other's scents, both moving in sync. They never wanted this moment to end, as much as their lungs were begging for air. They were at peace. They were in love.

Unknown to them Kagami and Chloe returned with some chips in there hands. Both stopped short seeing what was happening. Kagami smiled, happy for her friend. While Chloe..her reaction was a little different. Chloe smiled and started jumping up and down "WWOOO FINALLY!! YOU TO ARE TOGETHER RIGHT?!RIGHT! I KNEW THIS MOMENT WOULD HAPPEN AND NO-"she was stopped short with a hand placed on her mouth. "I think you scared them." Kagami said looking at the two who were both flustered seeing that they had an audience.
