Me, Honey, my friend Cay, and my other friend Venus were sitting together at lunch. Cain and I are known for acting like a couple even though he already has a girlfriend that doesn't go to our school. I can't tell if he likes me or not. I'm pretty sure he doesn't, but I'm still not sure. I've known Venus since fourth grade.
¨Oh yeah, here's your nail polish back!¨ Venus said, handing me a small bottle of black nail polish. ¨Oh thanks!¨ I took the nail polish and put it into my pocket. I took a sip of water, but then Honey tapped my shoulder. I turned around and she whispered in my ear, ¨Meet me in the bathroom.¨ I looked back at her as she walked up to one of the security guards in the front of lunchroom. I turned back around and told Venus what I was going to do.
About two minutes later, I walked up to one of the security guards and asked to use the bathroom, she nodded and looked away. I walked down the hall to the student bathroom and entered the female laboratory. I looked in to see Angel leaning against one of the stalls looking down at the floor. After I walked in, she looked up and stopped leaning on the stall. ¨Hey, what's up?¨ I asked, tilting my head to the side a little. ¨I was just thinking about what happened earlier. With the rabbit and all. It was kind of weird to be honest.¨ She said looking at the white marbled sink. ¨Yeah,¨ I agreed, ¨It was kind of weird. I'm pretty sure the only rabbit like the one we saw that lives around here is mine.¨ ¨Exactly. What if he escaped? Did you see him this morning?¨ Honey asked looking up at me with a worried look on her face. ¨Yeah, I fed him this morning. There's no way he could escape.¨ I said trying to calm her and myself down. ¨Okay. I'm just worrying about nothing. At least tell me if he's there when you get home.¨ She said, putting her hand on my shoulder. ¨Okay, I will.¨ I said, fixing my hair in the mirror. ¨We should probably head back soon.¨ Honey said braiding a few strands of her hair. ¨You should go first. They'll think it's suspicious if we come back together.¨ I said looking back at her. ¨Yeah you're right.¨ She said, ¨I guess I'll be going now.¨ Honey slowly walked towards the door, ¨See ya¨ She waved. I waved back, ¨Yup!¨ She then walked out of the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror for a moment, just thinking about what she had said. I really hope that wasn't Marshmallow. I wonder why she was so worried.
I walked back into the cafeteria to retrieve my things that left there at the table I sat at. I came back just in time as everyone was leaving. Cain grabbed my hand and asked me so many questions, which I answered most of them. Me and Cain then walked to seventh period together, even though we were in different classes. After walking up the stairs and to my next class, I said goodbye to Cain and let go of his hand. I then met Honey in the line next to our class. The teacher then opened the door and let up in. Sadly we had a quiz today.
