"You still like him?" I asked, looking up at Lamiris. "I mean," She looked down at her phone, "Kind of." I laughed as she opened Pinterest and started scrolling super fast. "What are you laughing about?" One of the boys from the seat across from us asked. I looked back down at Lamiris' phone to see her playing 'Jessie's Girl' on Youtube. I rolled my eyes and looked back up at him. "She was telling me something," I said. Lamiris ignored us and began humming to the song. "You know I wish that I had Jessie's girl," She hummed to herself. I turned around and looked out the window. "Where can I find a woman like that?" She continued.
"She's a very kinky girl," Lamiris started to sing. I nudged her to look up at the street sign at the intersection. She took her earbud out of their ear and put it in the case she had. She threw the case in her bookbag and zipped it back up. "All the other kids with the pumped up kicks, you better run, better run, out run my gun. All the other kids with the pumped up kicks, you better run, better run, faster than my bullet," Lamiris randomly began to sing. "Sorry," She laughed. The bus came to a stop at her bus stop. She waved at me and got up. I stared as she walked down the street. The bus continued driving after all four kids got off. I soon received a discord call from Lamiris. I accepted the call, grabbing my headphones from my bag. "Hey bitch what up motherfucking whore," She greeted. "What-" I cut myself off. "I don't know anymore," She said, point the camera at her shoes. She was still walking home. "Anyways, hear me out," She began. "What is it this time?" I asked. "Me, my soulmate, two packs of cigarettes, a single lighter, slowed songs, a Bluetooth speaker, a rooftop, and stars to gaze at." I knew this was her dream aesthetic. "They're still working on your soulmate," I laughed. "No need to call me out like that," She said, making a very sad face. "Too bad," I replied.
