5 || Icarus

Beautiful sun a grace in the sky
That no one could ever outshine
Lovely yet peril lingers
It made Icarus wonder

Wings that graze with the air
Flickering light that is so rare
Maybe Icarus chooses to feel the lovely heat
Than to feel the coldness of the sea

Through reckless
Through fondness
Maybe Icarus once admired the sun
Or even more than one

Freedom
Selfishness
Her eagerness to reach the sun
Maybe it once lay the love nevertheless
