I felt the moon's tender kiss on my forehead
She told me not to worry and never be upset
She saw me in my tainted dress
But she told me I'm half of her crestTears stinging the wound
She said it was alright because it was a river of stars
Never listen to the nightingale's woe
I felt her fingertips wiping my tears outShould never trust the broken mirror
But the pieces gleam with my blood
She told me to look at the lake and step nearer
And there I saw my hair gleams in goldShe took my hands so I could fly
She made my wings so I can be free
I leaped and let myself rise high
I accepted the light with a glee
