"Agent 48, you've got a new mission." our boss told us.

I looked at the papers that she dropped on the table and scanned its details.

"Why did you have to call me alone? How about the rest of my team?" I questioned.

"Your team is not suitable of doing this mission with you. No offense to them though." she waved her hand.

I narrowed my eyes at her and grabbed the folder, reading all the important details.

"So, you want me to work on this alone? I may be one of the skilled agents but this--" I was cut off when the door opened.

"What do you want?"

Her small eyes met mine and I just stared at her, almost dropping my jaw after seeing her here.

"You two will be working together for this mission." our boss announced.

I turned my head to look back at her with my eyes wide in surprise. If seeing this other agent wasn't already shocking to me, then this news was.

"Me? With agent 7? I don't think it's a good match." I scoffed.

"Why not?" our boss smirked.

I swear this Ha Sooyoung really...

"Did you just call the boss by her name?" agent 7 turned to me.

I looked back at our boss wide-eyed while she just raised an eyebrow at me.

This snitch...

"No I did not. You heard wrong." I said and crossed my arms.

She just laughed at me while our boss started to discuss with us the remaining details of the mission.

"That's it. You two are dismissed." she waved us off afterwards so we went out the room.

"Ughh, I can't believe she's pairing me up with you..." I heard her groan.

"Believe me, Caibing, I would complain too but there's no time to waste." I crossed my arms and huffed.

"Yeah, sure. Just like how you wasted your time before instead of being with your bestfriend." she hissed, putting emphasis on the last word.

"Well, I'm sorry, if only you didn't choose to work on another team instead of your bestfriend's." I sassed back.

"No offense, but I had to work with people who matched my skills." she said.

"Excuse me? You mean, people who are not that goo--"

"I thought I told you two to go on with your mission." we were cut off when this Ha Sooyou-- I mean our boss went out the door of her office.

"Yes ma'am." we both replied and walked away.

As soon as we got to the car, we had another argument on who's supposed to drive. Well, in the end I had to sit in the passenger's seat.

The drive was not quite silent, because I plugged in my phone to the aux of the car and played some music.

"I had to admit, your taste in music is good." Caibing claimed.

A smug smile appeared on my face as I turned to her.

"Oh yeah? Well--"

"But your skills are not. Sheesh." she interrupted.
