I sat there in shock.

This is actually some surprising news, I feel like the rose tinted glasses I've had in since I was a kid has just shattered, again.

I'm always able to put two and two together, this? Nope.

i should of known though, the late nights, the massive house, the security always at our estate, money that came just came out of nowhere. All of it was tainted.

I go to open my mouth but nothing comes out. I can't even look at them. My eyes spaced out on the table as I just went blank.

"I need a drink." I break out of trance and speak out.

I look to Ace, he nods and gets up, I watch as he walks to a small table where a few bottles of liquor stood and grabbed a bottle in one hand and a glass in the other.

When he comes back he places it infront of me and pours some liquor for me, topping his and Angelos glass after.

I quickly down the drink, shutting my eyes as the liquor burns me. I let out a harsh cough as I felt it stuck at the back of my throat.

Oh god it's been a while.

My whole body shivers as I grab the bottle and pour some more in my cup. I don't chug this one down. I need to calm down.

"I know this is a lot right now, I should have told you earlier but It wasn't my call to tell you." I look to Ace,

"That makes sense, I think, I don't know how to feel right now," I groan out.

He nods at me, "talk to David and Mark, they should explain everything to you." I furrow my brows but don't ask any other questions.

I lean back in my chair as I look to Angelo, "Ace said he knew me, did you?"

He slowly nods, "yes I did."

I squint, "how old are you?"

I see his mouth slightly twitch, "21."

my brother would of been 21 this year.

"did you know my brother?" i ask him, focusing on his body language, his hand on the table slightly clenches, "no-"

"you're lying." i glance away from his hand to his eyes, he notices where my eyes were before and drops his hand to his lap.

i look at Ace, his jaw was clenched, he was staring at Angelo.

"can you just be honest with me," i sigh out, "you owe me that at-least." i mumble under my breath.

i'm just always in the dark even though this is about me.

"you need to get some rest," Angelo says, looking at his watch, "it's 5 in the morning." He glances back to me. I roll my eyes at his statement, "well i've been in a coma for 3 weeks so i think i'm fine." I send him a small fake smile.

a minute passes without any of us talking, "go on." I take a small sip, "I'm waiting."

Angelo lets out a small sigh, "yes, me and Lucas were very close friends."

Realisation hits me like a ton of bricks, "it was you..." I look between both of them, "wait no, both of you."

They give me questioning looks, "you guys were there at the funeral."
