[A/N: This is probably one of the longer chapters yet written. Lumine does something that truly frightens Xiao, but Lumine refuses to have him interfere against Signora. Also please enjoy the song I provided for this chapter as it fits PERFECTLY for Lumine vs Rosalyne/Signora!! OR at least I think it fits. Now Rosalyne has a tragic past but I do not excuse her actions towards Venti and Childe for it. Karma came to bite her in the butt and her arrogance was her undoing. With that I'll also leave you a quote for Lumine vs Signora.]

"Some woman fear the fire, some woman simply become it..."

......................................

It had happened all too suddenly and all hell had broken loose upon their arrival with Sara. The truth from the tengu's adoptive father's own mouth had disgusted them and it had taken every ounce of control not to beat the man black and blue before Sara had stormed off for the palace of the Electro Archon not far away. But Sara was no longer thinking clearly so they had all agreed to go in hot pursuit as Sara had left fallen guards in her wake.

"The stupid fool is going to get herself killed."hissed Lumine.

"If you ask Paimon she's a little bit too devoted."Paimon piped in.

"Tsk. Devoted yes, but it might become her undoing if we do not act post haste, Lumi let us not dally here."Xiao stated hastily as they reached the palace's main doors.

"Right lets hurry."Lumine agreed and with a little help pushed the open door a bit wider. Once it was open the trio raced down the hall. Dark maple and oonagi wood framing the creamy white walls elegantly decorated with various Inazuman décor as towering pillars reached up to support the ceiling. The odd shimmering violet and red lanterns filled the hallways while a grand chandelier oriental in design with indigo and violet streamers hands elegantly away from it like ribbons at a small child's birthday on the ceiling. Towards the throne room doors stood two massive kitsunes statues. One crouched snarling with fangs directed towards the door and the other seemed to be leaping with a katana clutched in its mouth as if poised to strike. Both had gems of amethysts for eyes that sparkled in the dim light. Red scarf with the electro symbol wrapped around their smooth marble limestone necks. The guards stationed there sprawled out awkward angles on the floor, beaten black and blue as they sparked still with electro.

"Looks like the tengu was through here."sighed Xiao, the girls nodding in agreement. Their gazes went to the elaborately carved doors that had the Shogun's crest plated in gold. The doors were open.

"That must be the throne room, Paimon thinks we better hurry but...lets be careful."Paimon pointed out stating the obvious.

So with caution they entered the dark, dimly lit audience chamber. The floor itself covered in a more creamy white and black tatami mats across the smooth polished wooden maple floor. Dark lanterns glowing violet and indigo casting a glow that made the atmosphere oppressing and heavy. While on carious corners of the open floor violet folding screens towering high divided the room. What welcomed them as they rushed in was the one person Lumine had not been expecting but Xiao recognized her as well. "That woman from the bank with Lord Morax."he thought. The elegant aristocratic harbinger sighed in discontent as she glanced over from where she stood at the base of the stairs while Raiden stood with a polearm in hand seeming having been ready to strike like lightning if required. The archon's gaze cold and her face stoic as ever.

"You! Not you again Signora!"snapped Lumine.

"Dear me, the way people think they can just barge in just as they please, so uncivilized."retorted Signora. Lumine's eyes growing wide at seeing who lay at the Fair Lady's feet. A long drawn out moan from the now unconscious general. Injuries marred the fallen tengu's body but they weren't too serious as the harbinger turned to face them. "If I didn't know this was in fact Tenshukaku I would have mistaken it for some kind of street market with all the rabble storming in here. Hm?"Signora's gaze turned towards Xiao and her gaze grew wide. "My, my we even got one of Morax's lil' guard dogs that strayed from home."
