(Next day)

Kaeya couldn't sleep that night. He drank two cups of coffee and just kept thinking, 4 more days until he's dead..It's my fault.
Though it was probably kinda his fault.

Kaeya got ready to go to the hospital yet again.

(Hospital)

Kaeya went to see Albedo without any guidance from a doctor, probably a dumb idea but no one stopped him.
He saw Albedo sleeping on the bed when he walked in.

He put his hand on Albedo's head and stroked his hair. "Albedo..I love you.." Kaeya started crying, he couldn't help it. "I'm so..so sorry..you took the pills because of me, I shouldn't have fought with you. It's my fault please forgive me. Please don't go, please I love you, I love you too much. I can't live without you." Kaeya just kept crying more and more.

Albedo's sleeping body suddenly groaned and moved a bit. "It's better that you don't see me like this," Kaeya wiped his tears and laughed a little, sounding sad.

"You can't control if you live or not. It's worthless trying to beg you to stay, isn't it?" Kaeya took his hand off Albedo's head. "It's kind of strange how I'm the only one visiting you. Do you even have any family?" Kaeya asked knowing Albedo wouldn't reply. "If so, why haven't you called them yet?" Kaeya then sighed. 

"I don't understand you." Kaeya said, "Do you want to live, or not?" Kaeya stared at Albedo's body. "..You're my only reason for living. Without you my life means nothing." ... "But I'm sure you don't even find me worth living for." Kaeya's lip quivered. Albedos weak voice answered, "Thats..no..not tru..true.", Kaeya's eyes widened, "I..I wan..want to.. to live." Albedo curled up a bit more. "Th..the truth is.. I..I'm ho..horrified of death." Albedo said. "B..being d..dead isn't much di..different from being a..alive. Th..though being d..dead j..just me..means I don't ge..get to see y..you. That's wh..what ho..horrifies me." Albedos hands turned into fists, he was shaking. "What..? I don't get I—" Albedo interrupted him; "You..you're s..so naive." Albedo let out a weak scoff at that.

"Albedo.." Kaeya started but didn't finish because of Albedo saying, "Yo..you always s..seem to say m..my na..name wh..when som..something b..bad happens...usually." Albedo said.

Kaeya realized he was right.

"I..I love y..you Kaeya..b..but w..we wer..weren't me..met to be t..together. At least n..not forever." Albedo said. Kaeya's eyes widened, he didn't know what to say so he stayed quiet.

A doctor came in, surprised to see Kaeya, "Oh..Kaeya, you must leave..we are doing tests on Albedo again." The doctor looked at Albedo then at Kaeya. Kaeya kissed Albedos head and went out the door.

(At the apartment)

Kaeya got home and looked around. Everything reminded him of Albedo. He needed rest.

He went in his and Albedos bedroom but suddenly got tripped, he tripped over a box.

He looked down sat it, when did that get there? Kaeya picked it up, he realized that it was the same box that he had glued back together a few months ago. He opened it and saw that everything that was suppose to be there was there.

He then noticed something in the gloves. He took a glove out and looked inside it.

It read:

Sucrose

His eyes widened when he thought of that night where Albedo had overdosed and said the name Sucrose.

He looked at the picture that had Albedo and this 'Sucrose'.
She looked gentle and sweet. Like an angel.

He looked in the other glove just in case. He saw a piece of paper rolled up inside it. He took it out and read it.

It said:

Dear Sucrose,

I've been thinking about you recently. I wanted to say I'm sorry. Your death is my fault. You told me to stop, but I didn't. It should've been me that died. I miss you more than anything..but I have some news.

Sucrose my dear, I've found someone who loves me. His name is Kaeya, I love him. I feel like he saved me from this awful world, it seems like everything around me is brighter with him.

He didn't erase all my pain from that night, or just life in general. He didn't solve all my problems in this world..but that's not what I needed was it?
What I needed..was someone who stayed.

I know you aren't going to be getting this letter now that you're dead. But it feels like I'm really talking to you in this way.

Goodbye, Sucrose.

Kaeya's tears hit the paper, his hands were shaking. He wiped his tears with his arm and carefully put the letter back in Sucrose's glove. He closed the box and put it on the dresser. He laid on his and Albedos bed and just thought. He was still crying but he didn't notice since he was too deep into thought. He soon fell asleep.

In the middle of the night he heard his phone ring, he rubbed his eyes and groaned..he picked up his phone, the light burned his eyes a bit and he answered the phone call.

"Hello..?" Kaeya yawned. "Is this Kaeya?!" A lady's voice said, almost shouting. "Yeah..why?" Kaeya said.

"I'm Albedos..parent, you could say..We are very worried about him and when we tried to call only a doctor picked up and gave us your phone number." She explained.

"Okay..first of all, what's you're name, second, whose 'we'?" Kaeya was quite confused.

"I'm Jean, and by we I mean.." a little girls voice then shouted "HII!!", she sounded happy, must've not been told about the news on Albedo. "Klee is Albedos cousin." Jean said. "Ah..well, would you like me to explain what happened?" Kaeya asked, Jean made a 'Mhm' sound, "I don't think you will want Klee there." Kaeya said.

Jean asked Klee to go to her room for a moment, then Kaeya explained everything.

After explaining, you could here Jean on the other end crying. "Is he gonna be okay?" She asked with a sad tone. Kaeya had avoided to tell her about the how many days until he dies thing, so he didn't answer.

"I understand..please, get some rest. I'll end the call, please take care of my boy..please." Jean then hung up. Kaeya felt like he just ruined a whole family.
