Kaeya woke up with a stretch. He was going to see Albedo as always, just so he could talk to him before the Autumn Festival. He did as he always did, got in the car and drove to the hospital.
Kaeya went to Albedos room and saw Albedo wide awake with excited eyes. Kaeya couldn't help but smile at him. He couldn't describe how he was feeling.
It was like everything was just tied up inside him, and one little pull of a specific string and it would make it all just come loose. And by that I mean, he would definitely break down if that string was pulled.
Kaeya sat on a chair beside Albedos bed. "Have you ate breakfast yet?" Kaeya asked, Albedo shook his head no. Kaeya took out Albedos favorite dessert from his bag he brought with him and gave it to him. "I bought this for you, I hope you like it." Kaeya said. Albedo took it and nodded at Kaeya as a thanks.
(After Albedo ate)
Albedo pointed at Kaeya. "Hm?" Kaeya looked at Albedo. Albedo pointed at his mouth then at Kaeya. Kaeya was confused, Albedo rolled his eyes and took Kaeya's phone and went to notes.
Did you eat anything yet?
Albedo typed then showed it to Kaeya, "Oh, no I didn't, but I'll eat later. I'm not really hungry." Kaeya hadn't even thought about food unless it was buying that dessert for Albedo.
Albedo nodded then started writing something again.
I can't believe that last time that you heard my voice I said something so stupid and depressing. It's kind of embarrassing!
Albedo showed Kaeya, but before Kaeya could read it all Albedo took the phone away and blushed from embarrassment realizing that he didn't want Kaeya to read that. Kaeya let out a small laugh.
Albedo started writing again,
I've always wanted to see the Autumn Festivals lights and decorations. I never got to since I always needed to go somewhere when the festival was going on. A shame that the first time I'm going to have to sneak out of a hospital.
Albedo showed Kaeya, Kaeya nodded. He now knew that the doctors didn't tell him about what was going on..wonder why.
"I've never been to the Autumn Festival myself so..it'll be exciting for both of us." Kaeya said then kissed Albedos forehead. He couldn't help but hug Albedo. This could be their last hug after all. Albedo hugged a bit tighter. Albedo didn't struggle to get out of the hug.
Albedo knew he was dying, even if he wasn't told so. He could feel his body slowly getting weak and just giving up. He didn't know if Kaeya knew so he didn't mention it. He didn't want to. It was weird, being able to know that you're dying. Maybe Albedo could study something about it or paint a picture expressing his emotions about it. If only he had time.
Kaeya let go of the hug and kissed Albedo, feeling his cold pale lips touch his skin. He pulled away from the kiss then rested his head against Albedos. Kaeya put his hand in Albedos, having them intertwine. Albedo grip tightened to Kaeya's hand. Kaeya didn't mind, it wasn't hurting him after all.
He wished he could hear Albedos voice at least one more time.

"Albedo we need to do some more tests on y—" The coyote opens the door and looked up above his clipboard to see Albedo and Kaeya, "Well unless you're busy." The doctor said smugly, weird doctor.
Kaeya backed away from Albedo and looked at the doctor, it was a different one than yesterday. He looked like he would call you comrade 24/7.
"I'll leave," Kaeya got up and kissed Albedo one more time before walking out that door.
He wasn't exactly excited anymore for tonight, now realizing that Albedo was going to die.
He decided to stay in his car until he needed to get Albedo. He had everything he needed in the car.
