||Chapter Sixty Three||
Kolade.
I slowly opened up my eyes, the sunlight streaming in through the curtains brightening up the room. My eyes landed on Tade to see her sleeping peacefully, a smile grew on my face as I admired her features. My fingers trailing softly on her face as I fell more for her. Last night was amazing and I couldn't do wait to spend much more amazing nights with her.

My phone beeped showing that I had a new message, I unlocked it sliding through the screen to see that it was from an unknown number.

It's time I told you the truth.. sunny side park 10am. Dayo.

I blinked my eyes in surprise as I reread the text. Was he for real? He was really going to tell me everything. I checked the time to see it was currently eight a.m, I jumped out of the bed slipping on my clothes in a rush also quietly so I wouldn't wake up my sleeping beauty. Immediately I was done wearing my clothes I left the room, closing the door softly only to meet Mobola in the living room drinking a glass of water.

"Good morning Tik" she greeted with a smile

"Morning mobs." I replied fully noticing that she was wearing nothing but a flimsy white shirt with her legs full on display the view causing me to smirk in realization.
Guess Ire finally decided to man the fuck up

"So where are you off to in a rush?" She asked taking her seat on the couch as she scrolled through her phone.

"Uhm my dad really wants to see me right now so can you please explain it to Tade that I'll see her later tonight" I lied.

"Yeah sure. Take care" she answered getting up from the couch walking towards the stairs.

"Wait mobs.." I called

"What's up?" She answered

"You're glowing this morning. It's nice" I said with a teasing smirk on my face as I watched her eyes widen in realization before she gave out an embarrassed giggle.

"Tik c'mon, is it that obvious?" She whispered shyly with a smile on her face.

"The baggy white shirt isn't hiding that much sweetie bet you enjoyed last night" I teased with a wink causing her to blush..

"Okayyy! Get out" she whisper-shouted causing me to laugh before finally leaving ire's house.
                   ****************
Sunny side park hadn't changed much from the last time I came. I remember coming here once with Tobi and Dayo back when we were still friends. It was during one of our many school Holliday's, my parents were hosting one of their many parties and their parents were invited for it. We spent over a month in Abuja back then.

We loved hanging out in sunny side park because it came with a lot of perks. It wasn't that far from my dad's hotel so our parents let us go on our own since our safety was guaranteed and we so much enjoyed the freedom away from our exasperating elite lives. Tobi loved Abuja so much that he made us promise to come back here to school. One of the reasons why I never schooled abroad was because I wanted to fulfill that promise I made to Tobi to come back to Abuja and study in one of the elite universities and I think that's also why Dayo never schooled abroad.

I sighted him on one of the swings, his eyes closed as he looked up at the sky. He looked so normal and peaceful it felt surreal. It felt like he was in his own zone. I took a deep breath taking small steps towards him, my heart beating with each step my confidence slowly fading as all the painful memories kept on coming back.

"Hey" I said getting his attention.
His eyes finally opened and I held back a breath at the intensity it held, there was so much fear in his eyes. So much but why? What is he so scared of?
