Chapter 7

Lia pushed Ryujin back making the other girl seat on the sofa again "W-why did you do that?" she stammered

"You talk too much" Ryujin replied with her eyes closed

So, Lia thought it was just a drunken mistake so, she didn't mind it. But she did, that was her first ever kiss. She didn't even let Soobin kiss her yet and then there's Ryujin.

After fixing Ryujin to bed, her body was full on tired but her mind and her heart in still racing. She touched her lip and remembered the soft touch of Ryujin's lips against her. It was warm, and she felt tingling feelings inside her like fluttering butterflies.

It was a foreign experience for her. She never felt like that before to anyone else. Not even to her boyfriend. She placed her hand on her chest and felt her heart pumping like a maniac. "What is happening to me?" she asked herself.

So, she decided to take a shower to clear her mind. After that she decided to take a nap. She kept thinking that is was probably because she was tired that she's feeling like that.

When she woke up, she thought everything was just a dream, but it was real. It's real that Ryujin kissed her. She shook her head and forced herself out of her bed and saw Ryujin leaning on the counter staring into nothing.

"Hey" she said grabbing Ryujin's attention.

The other girl was startled and looked up "H-hey" she replied "Uhm...I made breakfast. But it's probably lunch now"

She smiled at the other girl. For her, it was so, weird hearing Ryujin stammer. She's usually composed and very professional along with her childish tendencies

"Uhm...about what happened today. I'm really sorry. For making you worry, making you wait. I talked to dad. He told me you were worried so, you called him. And uhm... the kiss. I didn't mean to do that"

"I-it's ok. I understand"

"I know I said I'll back off and kissing you was uncalled for"

"No, you were drunk. I know you didn't mean to do it. It's fine"

"I'm sorry again"

Lia gave her a smile "it's ok Ryujin, you don't need to apologize. Just don't make me worry again"

"Ok" Ryujin replied "And uhm...your beef stew is tasty by the way"

"You ate it?" Lia asked in surprise

"Well, I couldn't find anything to eat and I saw the pot. So, I tried it"

"Are you lying?" she squinted her eyes and pointed Ryujin her fork

The other girl raised both her hands "It's good probably a little less salt next time. But other than that, it's delicious"

So, Monday came, and Soobin went to pick up Lia and drive her to school. They are currently in their math lesson and the teacher is giving out the results from their previous quiz. The teacher stopped by her seat and shook her head "You could have done better" she said

"What did you get?" asked Chaeryeong

"7 out of 10"

"I got six"

"Bitches I got five, stop complaining" said Felix "And we have this up-coming test, I think I'm going to fail it"

"Soobin, what did you get?" asked Beomgyu

"Seven"

After school Lia wanted to stay at the library to review and do her work. She could do it at home it she still feels a little awkward with Ryujin.

Whenever they see each other they just greet each other with simple hello's or sometimes they get into a conversation and it just ends up in an awkward silence. In their entire friendship, they never had an awkward conversation. Not until the kiss.

Soobin decided to be a kind boyfriend and stayed back with her. So, they're working on some sample questions from the books. "Do you know how to answer this question?" she asked him

Soobins's pretty good in math sometimes "Uhm well, first you do this then multiply this by the number you get, then simplify the answer"

"Sorry what?"

"I said first you do this then multiply this by the number you get, then simplify the answer" he repeated.

"Thanks" she replied even though she can't understand what he just said

"If you can't understand it just google it. That's the use of the internet" he added

"Ok"

Time passed, and Lia was still working on a problem "So, why don't we finish up and go somewhere for dinner?" he asked

"Uhm..." she didn't want to reject Soobin, but she also doesn't want to fail in her exams. "Yeah, sure" she replied and packed her things

"So, where do you want to eat?" he asked

"Anywhere you like"

"Come you pick"

"I don't mind any"

"I swear why do girls like doing that. They can't pick. My ex was like that all the time" he said earning a questioning look from Lia 'Did he just compare me to his old girlfriend?' 1
