Chapter 11

"Are willing you take that risk for me too?" asked Yeji still cupping Ryujin's cheeks.

Ryujin thought for a moment and met Yeji's eyes. She sighed. "I would take any risks for you" she finally replied.

And with that Yeji wrapped her arms on Ryujin's neck hugging her while the other girl wrapped hers on Yeji's waist. Feeling like the happiest person in the world Ryujin carried Yeji and twirled her around making the other girl shriek.

Then she set her down and their foreheads touched again "So, what are we now?" Ryujin asked

"I guess, we're official" Yeji smiled

Ryujin reflected the smile "I like the sound of that"

"So, you guys are like together, together now?" Jisu asked looking at the couple in front of her with Yeji seating on Ryujin's lap and her arm on Ryujin's neck

"Yep" replied Yeji and kissed Ryujin on the cheek

"I guess, our plan was successful" Soobin said

"Plan?" Ryujin asked curiously

"Well, you see our friend here as you can see has a major crush on you and she needed help" Soobin explained

Ryujin turned to Yeji "You have?"

"Well, duh. Like we helped her plan like a thousand things just for you to notice her undying love for you" Jisu explained

"Yeah but most of them failed like one time she tried to cook for you. That didn't go well" said Soobin

"I remember that" said Ryujin "yeah that did fail" she said remembering the 'buttered shrimp soup' She earned a light slap from her girlfriend.

"Hey, I tried my best to cook for that ok. And I got cut like a lot of times" Yeji said

"Aww I'm sorry babe" said Ryujin and kissed the girl's hand on her shoulder

"So, I'm going to be the maid of honor on your wedding yeah?!" Soobin commented

"What are you talking about? I'm the woman here" Jisu replied

"So? I don't care" said Soobin.

They heard a knock on the door and Jisu opened it. Mr. Hwang's secretary came into view. It was the same girl who called Ryujin before "Miss Hwang and Miss Shin, Mr. Hwang wanted both of you in his office"

They made their way to his office and knock before entering. They were told to come in and when they did they saw two figures. It was a woman seating behind the desk and Mr. Hwang leaning his arms beside her "Mom? Dad?" Yeji asked

"Sit" the woman commanded, and they did

"So, I heard. You two are officially together" she turned from one girl to another.

Yeji felt Ryujin tense up a bit so, she held her hand and gave her a small squeeze "Yes" she replied

The older couple didn't say anything for a couple of seconds then Mrs. Hwang, Yeji's mother handed Mr. Hwang a hundred dollar bill. The younger couple were confused "Your mother and I made a bet whether you'll end up with a guy or a girl. And obs, I won" said Mr. Hwang "I'm the goat!"

Mrs. Hwang turned to her husband "Goat?" she asked

"Greatest of all time? Duh! Like keep up with the slang" said Mr. Hwang, Mrs. Hwang rolled her eyes.

'Now I know where Yeji got her attitude from' Ryujin thought. Mrs. Hwang turned to their daughter "I'm so happy for you, sweetie" she went around the desk and hugged her daughter

"Yeah, yeah. My princess finally found a bae! Let's get turnt!" said Mr. Hwang and also hugged her daughter

When they finished they then turned to Ryujin "Welcome to the family!" Mr. Hwang hugged her too "But remember what I told you before" he said and gave her an 'I'm watching you' signal

Ryujin smiled. "So, you must be Ryujin. I've a lot of things about you" said Mrs. Hwang

"Nice to finally meet you ma'am" said Ryujin

"Ma'am? Such a polite young woman. Do continue taking care of her" she told her daughter and Yeji smile at Ryujin "Just call me mom, dear"

"Mom!" said Yeji

"What? It'll end up like that anyways. Why not get used to it?" Mrs. Hwang explained

"Stop making her uncomfortable. Besides we just started dating and that thing isn't in our minds yet" said Yeji

"Fine, just call us Mr. Hwang and Mrs. Hwang" said the older woman and Ryujin nodded

"Isn't it lit! Our daughter is dating her bodyguard meaning more protection"

"Bodyguard? Why don't you just work for us, Ryujin? I heard you graduated with a business degree" Mrs. Hwang asked

"Uhm. Thank you for the offer ma'am but I like being Yeji's bodyguard for now" Ryujin replied "And it wouldn't look good on your employees. With your daughter dating me now and a sudden change in my position, that will look fishy"

"You're smart. I like you" Mrs. Hwang commented

"I ship this couple!" said Mr. Hwang

"Ship?" Mrs. Hwang sked

"I like them together. I swear do I need to explain everything?" said Mr. Hwang. Mrs. Hwang turned to him "I mean, I'll keep my mouth shut now"

"That's what I thought" his wife replied, "Why don't we go out for dinner?"

"We'd love that" Yeji replied looking at Ryujin who smiled at her.
