Chapter 15

As predicted, Yeji's been busy at the office and with her new modelling career. As with Ryujin, like the supportive girlfriend she is, she's been very understanding about not having some quality time with her.

She is currently at home because Yeonjun insisted on driving Yeji instead and said that Ryujin would've been bored just seating at the studio. She's at the gym doing some reps when the door burst open revealing two familiar faces

"What's up, fuckers!" Soobin shouted as he walked in followed by Jisu

Ryujin sat up from the bench and wiped her sweat "Yeji's not here. She's at the studio"

"Again?!" Soobin asked

"How are you feeling?" Jisu asked seating next to Ryujin

"Fine?" Ryujin replied curiously "Why?"

"Well, lets see. Your girlfriend's been hanging around more with your supposed mortal enemy" Jisu explained

"Oh, here we go again. Guys, I'm ok with Yeji hanging around who ever she likes. Besides, I know Yeonjun, he seems like a cool guy" Ryujin stood up from her seat and went to the punching bags

"Do you really?" Soobin asked

"Ryujin, sweetie. We're only trying to help" said Jisu

Ryujin knew deep inside they were right. She doesn't know Yeonjun that much and lately she's been feeling left out. Yeji's always been with him these past few days and it's making her a little bit jealous. But she kept pushing it down because she trusts Yeji.

Evening came and there was no Yeji in sight. Ryujin left about a thousand calls and texts already but nothing. She's getting worried. "Don't worry, she's with Yeonjun" Mr. Hwang reassured her

Its about quarter passed one, the door burst open and revealed Yeji, drunk, clutching hold unto Yeonjun "That was fun!" she commented

Ryujin who fell asleep on the sofa got up to her feet and helped Yeonjun with the drunken Yeji "What happened?" she asked

Yeonjun who also smell like alcohol replied "Sorry, RS. Our workmates kinda invited us and we couldn't say no"

Yeji who still has a little bit sense on her looked up to Ryujin and smiled "There's my beautiful girlfriend"

Ryujin rolled her eyes. She doesn't like seeing Yeji like this "Thanks Yeonjun. I'll take it from here" She carried the girl to her room and laid her on her bed and changed her clothes.

The next morning, Jisu and Soobin decided to come visit again. They saw Yeji by the pool on her phone while Ryujin is no where to be found "Yes, that would be great" they heard Yeji say as they approach "Yeah, cool. See you" then hanged up

"Busy as always I see" said Jisu who sat on the bench next to her

"And when did you start saying cool?" asked Soobin laying on the other side

"What are you guys doing here?" asked Yeji

"Girl, we're always here and we missed you like lots" replied Soobin

Yeji rolled her eyes and laid on her bench "So, how are you and Yeonjun. We heard you two are working on the same studio now" said Jisu

"We're doing great. Been catching up" Yeji replied then her phone vibrated.

"How's the feeling being back with modelling?" Soobin asked "Is there any prospects in there?" he added excitedly

Yeji replied to the person on her phone "pretty busy actually. Combined with work. I don't think I even have time to sleep anymore"

"We can see. You haven't been going out with us" Jisu replied

"Correction, even before she doesn't go out with us" Soobin added making them laugh

Her phone rang "Sorry guys. I have to take this" she said and got up her seat.

Meanwhile, Ryujin came out of the house and saw Jisu and Soobin by the pool "Hey guys, where's Yeji?"

"Probably talking to her new friends again" said Jisu seating back on her seat

"Or Yeonjun" Soobin added. Ryujin turned to the other side of the pool where Yeji is and saw her talking on the phone. "Girl, if I were you. I'd tie her on my waist, so she doesn't go anywhere" Soobin added. Ryujin turned to Yeji again who is making her way towards them.

"I have to go" she said

"Where?" Jisu asked

"Work" Yeji replied

"But it's a Saturday, you don't have work" Soobin said

"Well, it's just a couple of friends invited me out" Yeji confessed

"What happened to work?" Soobin asked "Why don't we come with you so, we can meet your new model friends"

"Uhm..." Yeji looked at Ryujin then back to her friends "I don't know. They invited me and I dont want to...you know...uhm"

"You can ask them if you can invite us. That'll be fun. So, we can meet your celebrity friends" said Soobin

"It's fine, Yeji. We'll just hang out another time" interrupted Jisu

Yeji hugged her "I promise. I'll make it up to you guys" she also hugged Soobin

"Do you want me to come with you?" Ryujin asked

"No, it's fine. We're just hanging out at the mall" Yeji replied "And don't worry, they'll drive me back" Ryujin nodded, and Yeji made her way inside the house as the trio watch her

"She's changing isn't she" Soobin said

"Yep" Jisu answered

"Wanna grab lunch?" Soobin asked

"You know it!" Jisu replied joyfully while gathering her things

Ryujin was about to go in when "Hey, Ryujin. Do you want to come with us?" Soobin asked

She was about to decline when they dragged her "Dude I have stuff to do!"

"Like what, wait for Yeji to come home like a loyal dog?!" said Soobin

"Now, that's mean" Ryujin replied

When they got to the front door, right on cue Yeji is at the gate walking towards a black range rover parked just in front of the house. A guy came out of the car wearing a smile on his face and greeted the girl. He said something and Yeji replied.

"Didn't she say she's going out with her friends?" Soobin asked.

"Well, Yeonjun is her friend" Jisu replied

"Then why didn't she invite us if it's just Yeonjun?" Soobin asked as they watch the pair outside the gate.

"Maybe there are other people. And Yeonjun is just part of that friend group" said Jisu.

Yeonjun opened the door for her and she got in the car and after a few moments they drove away. Ryujin watched the car drive off feeling that weird, crushing sensation inside her "Uhm, let's just go" she said and went to Soobin car

The other two watched their friend walk away "She's a saint"
