The return

It's been almost close to 5 months with Mason and I've really gotten to know him, he always takes care of me but after the night he took me out and we went and saw the stars he's been distant. He's been going out late at night more and not being with me as much.

Masons POV:
It's been almost 5 months with Grace, after the night I took her out to see the stars, seeing her so happy with her beautiful smile. In that moment I knew I loved her. I'm scared to tell her because I'm not the best boyfriend, especially when it comes to the 5 month mark. 5 months is my longest relationship whenever it gets to that I get scared and I break it off, I don't do relationships but with Grace, it's easy, she's easy, there is something about her that I love and I wouldn't want anyone else to have her.
" hey mason call me back when you get this, I'm a little worried you haven't spoke to me in 3 days" I sit here and listen to the voice message Grace left me. "Hey handsome you ready to go out?" " yeah sure" I reply, I know I shouldn't be doing this, it would hurt Grace. But I don't do relationships I've told Grace that, even though I asked her to be mine and now that I think I love her, I just don't know what to do

Graces POV:
Mason hasn't spoken to me in the past 3 days and I'm really worried, I mean he could just be visiting his family, I'm sure he is just doing that.

I stopped myself from overthinking the worst even though it was hard. I decided I needed to do something for myself so I was going to drive into the city and go shopping, the city is about 45 minutes away from my apartment so it wasn't that bad.

I get to the city, it's not the best weather it's raining. I went into a couple of shops but I didn't find anything I liked, I walked out and all I could see was couples everywhere, it made me think of Mason. " I just hope he's ok" I said as I sighed. I started heading towards the parking lot when I saw someone who looked awfully a lot like Mason. " it couldn't be? Not with another girl no" i started getting a bad feeling in my stomach, I got to curious and walked over. I tap the man on the back and I was right. " mason what are you doing here and what are you doing with another girl?!" He jumped up quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me to my car "Grace what the fuck are you doing here" he demanded I give him an answer. " I um I" I couldn't take my eyes off the girl he was with, she was very pretty, very athletic body, long blonde hair and blue eyes. " Grace why are you here!" " no mason you don't get to ask that, why the fuck are you here with her" I snap back at him. " it's not what it looks like " mason quickly responded. " Yeah mason id hope not, I hope that I was just imaging you with your arms around her" then it hit me. I walk right up to mason " what the fuck are you cheating on me" " omg" mason replied looking at the ground. " WHAT THE FUCK MASON! After all we have been through this is how it's going to end, I thought you were different, I LOVED YOU!" I yell right into his face as I try and fight the tears from falling out. " wait Grace what" mason asked " you love me?" Mason quickly looked up at me as his eyes widened " doesn't matter now" I go to walk off and he pulls me back " NO MASON FUCK YOU HONESTLY " I scream at him and run to my car that was until I heard him yell out " FUCK YOU GRACE" my heart sank, I turned around and he went back to the blonde chick

Honestly, I thought he was different, I thought that he genuinely cared about me but I guess I was wrong.
