In honor of Halloween 2022 I bring to you childhood WrightWorth!

"Miles, aren't you excited?" Pheonix exclaimed, smiling brightly
"Pheonix, what are you so hyper about? Halloween is tommorow. " Edgeworth sighed
"Edgy! You have to go trick-or-treating us!" Larry butted in
"I don't know about that." Edgeworth shrugged
"Why not??"
"I don't really- well..uhm." Edgeworth looked embarrassed
"I never went trick-or-treating without my dad." Edgeworth was visibly embarrassed upon disclosing this information
Most ten-year-olds his age went trick or treating alone or with other friends. Edgeworth never had any friends to go with.
"Don't worry Edgy, we'll convince him! You're safe in our hands, he won't have to worry!" Larry did his reassuring thumbs-up pose that had a history of never reassuring anyone
"I think his dad will worry more if he knows you're coming." Pheonix chuckled
"What's that supposed to mean?! I'm reliable!"
"Anyways, what costume are you guys going to wear? I'm gonna be a superhero!" Pheonix asked, completely ignoring Larry's fit
"I think I'll be a vampire..", Edgeworth shrugged, "What about you, Larry?"
"Well u-uhhh..."
Larry guiltily smiled
"I haven't decided yet."
"Don't tell me you don't have a costume." Edgeworth sighed
"I'll improperise!"
"It's improvise." Edgeworth rolled his eyes
"Whatever! You know i work best under pressure!"
"You ONLY work under pressure.." Pheonix joined in
"You guys are so mean! I'll show you, I'll have the best costume you've ever seen!"
Larry pouted
Edgeworth just rolled his eyes, Larry was like a young toddler throwing a fit about not getting a cool toy.
The school bell ringed, signalling that it was time to head to class.
Edgeworth was taking notes, focused.
Pheonix sat in the desk next to him, while Larry sat behind them.
Edgeworth felt something small hit the back of his head.
"Psst! Edgy!" Larry pointed at the small paper on the ground
"Don't bother me!"
Edgeworth whispered back reluctantly opening the paper.
"What's your favourite candy?"
It was a stupid question. One made to distract Edgeworth from class no doubt.
Edgeworth wrote in neat handwriting. A contrast to Larry's messy uneven handwriting
"Caramel."
The trio walked home after class
"Ask your dad, alright?" Pheonix smiled reassuringly
"I'll let you know what he says at school tommorow."
"You better come!" Larry shouted, putting his foot on the ground
"It's not up to him to decide, Larry." Pheonix sighed
"By the way, isn't that your stop, dude?"
"Oh, right. See you guys!" Larry ran off onto the bus stop
Edgeworth and Phoenix were now alone.
"So, Miles..."
