( Fl's POV )

I pant loudly as i was short of my breath, i grab the left part of my chest where my heart resides as i pant loudly "What.... was that dream.....?" My eyes are still widened of shock as i breath heavily and my sweat drops on the dirty floor continuesly, i looked around on my surroundings seeing the whole place dark, i looked to my side as i saw a corpse lying beside me

'Ah right.... it's mother......' I looked down in front of me seeing a dirty water in a broken and dirty bowl 'Right.... this whole place..... was my home....' I looked around me as a certain memory flashed into my mind "Right-!! Tha- THAT DREAM!! WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT?! Me being adopted by a noble and becoming a substitute for the real daughter of the duke?? What a weird dream...." I looked up front seeing a lot of people passing by me and my dead mother

"I heard from a certain someone that if you remember your dream, the dream will come true..... Then..... will my dream come true mother....?" I looked over to my dead mother as i went closer to her, i held my mother's hand as i closed my eyes

"Mother did you know? In that weird dream of mine, i was adopted by a noble to become a substitute for his own long lost daughter, in that dream i was bullied..... because i took their sisters position, did you know mother that i was given a last name?? It was....."

"Penelope Eckart"

"Yes that was my name mother, the maids and butler bullies me because i was not the duke's real daughter, i heard nobles are not allowed to be looked down upon but i was looked down upon and was critize's, in my dream i was sad, i was accused of stealing but i didn't even touch the object"

"I was sad in there, Did you also know mother, i received a nickname from the noble society, it was 'The Rabid Dog of the house of Eckart' I was bad in there, i still remembered correctly on how i bullied and critized those people, also...."

"I also dreamed about my death mother, it was a sad and lonely death, i died countless of times there, one mistake could lead me to my own death mother"

I put my mothers hand on the floor gently as i did some hand signs in mid air "Also mom did you know that i saw a pretty lady in my dream?! She has a beautiful straight black hair, her situation was a lot the same as me when im in the Eckart's house, she has two older brothers which i also had two older brothers, her dad is a workaholic like the duke and people often bully her like me!!"

"In my dream...... i died and she possessed my body, she had a hard time surviving in this world, you see she lives in a different world than ours, there we're stuffs that moving, big houses and stuff there are stuff's that is even called smartphones or cellphone mother tho i have no idea what that is!!"

"She possessed my body as she tried surviving this new world of hers in order to return to her own world, to me she was amazing, i mean waking up in an fantasy world then was suddenly tasked to survive in this world which she barely even knows about...."

"Also, also she was the one that gave me a happy ending mother!! I want to be just like her, she's amazing and cool she's even pretty i tell you mother!!" I feel into silence for a moment as i put my hands down from mid air and opened my mouth "Who am i talking to.... your dead now right mother.....?" I asked to my dead mother as silence filled the whole place i was in

"Ah right i forgot..... Dead people can't talk....." tears started flowing out in my eyes as i wiped it off with both of my dirty hands "Why did you leave me alone mother" I kept wiping my tears away but water keeps flowing down in my eyes as it reached my cheeks as the water falls down to the floor

"Damn it, don't cry penelope your not a crybaby are you?" I asked to no one as tears keeps flowing down in my eyes, suddenly i heard a voice coming in front of me "Are you alright little one?" I flinched as i did not notice that someone was actually in front of me

I wiped my tears as i looked up to see a man with a dark grey-coloured hair and blue eyes 'This guy looks like....!!'

H-how can i not know him!! He is.... HE IS THE MAN WHO ADOPTED ME IN MY DREAMS!! Which means- He's.... THE DUKE OF ECKART AND SOON TO BE MY FUTURE FATHER!! I looked at the man/duke of eckart with widened eyes as he extended his hand at me

"Are you okay? Why are you crying?" I trembled at sight of the duke as i backed down, the duke noticed that im scared "Don't worry i won't hurt you" 'Those eyes.... are completely different from what he usually gives me in my dreams.... Wait... why even is he here?!" "Child are you alright?"

The duke stretched his hand out and placed it on my cheeks as he wiped the tear off 'Ah-! I didn't realize that there we're still some tears left, this is embarrassing....' The duke took his hand back and he then took a handkerchief out from his pocket

"Here, use this child" He offered the handkerchief as i hesitantly took it "T-thank you d-duke" The duke flinched at my words "You knew?" 'Ah- Crap i messed up-!!' "Y-yes, there's no way i-i wouldn't know such a famous person like you...." The duke chuckled at my words as he standded up and then bent down

"Child, i find you quite interesting" The duke extended his hand as i looked at him with curious eyes "Would you like to come home with me little one?" "Huh?!" "I'll take you in, in my ducal household and well take good care of you, though it's your choice child do you want to come with me or stay here?"

'Its... the same as in my dream.... though just different words...... take good care of me....? But in my dream.... I lived a miserable life because of you and your two sons though.....'

'But... I'll handle it..... it's better than starving and being wet by the rain, Yeah.... let's endure it, cause once we earn tons of money......

'I'll run away'
