It's been a while. And by a while I mean like 2 weeks but that's long enough for me not to be talking to Jordan. Me and riz have be trying to figure out ways for him to forgive me. We also go the date for when prom is. I'm not really sure where me and Jordan stand with that anymore either. His birthday falls on that day too. I know I fucked up and I never meant to hurt him. I really need to make it up to him.
It's Sunday morning and I hear a light knock on the door. Chloe hasn't been around much recently so I have no idea who this could be. I open the door rubbing my eyes, blinded by the early morning sun. I slowly open them to see Cory leaning against the door of my porch. "Can I help you?" I said confused. He stayed silent and pointed inside which I assume meant he wanted to come in. I turned my back to him and started walking inside. I sat down at the table and he did the same. "Mia" he said I nodded hoping what he was going to say would be something good about Jordan. I was wrong. "Mia he's really gone off the rails since you both split up." I looked at him with no emotion. What did he expect me to do. "Cory, he broke up with me". He sighed "yeah but Mia you broke him." I felt a tear form in my eye. Did I really hurt him that bad? "Where is he?" I asked sternly. "Good question." Cory replied with sounding concerned. "It's his birthday next week." He stated. I folded my arms. "I know. Why wouldn't I know that." I said rudely. He shook his head "I don't know. Thought you might be done for good this time." I can't believe he said that. "Is that what he said?" I asked. He just looked at me. I really had fucked up.

It's now the next day and I can't stop thinking about everything Cory said to me. I genuinely don't know how to fix this. I was hoping Jordan would be in today. It's the last week of school and also the last day of exams today. He needed to be here. He needs to hear what I have to say.I walked up to the doors of school spotting Missy who I feel like I haven't spoke to in forever. "Mia, Mia." She shouted embracing me in a hug. "Miss I'm really sorry I messed up our plans last week." I said feeling guilty. I had been putting this whole Jordan thing over our friendship a lot recently. "Don't be silly girl you have been through it. I don't know how you do it!" She exclaimed. She's right. I had been through it. Suddenly I heard Mr Bell call us into the classroom for our last exam. Art. It was a long one. It was sad because this was where I first met Jordan. It felt weird him not being here. We all eventually were called in and Missy gave her final good luck before I went in and found my seat. I put my hand to my chin and daydreamed out the window whilst the examiner spoke. I was suddenly brought back when I heard the chair scrape next to me. It was him.
