"She would've been proud of you dad" Aria said as she sat down next to Kelly
"How has it been 20 years?" Kelly asked, looking at Harper's grave
"I miss her but I feel so guilty for being the only one who remembers her" Aria explained
"Hey you can't help it" Kelly said as arias cell went off
"Sorry dad there's a problem with 81 I need to run" Aria said as she kissed him on the cheek
Kelly was then left alone, staring at her grave, wishing this was all a dream. He missed her like crazy, he gave up squad shortly after she died. He knew that's not what Harper would've wanted but he just couldn't cope any more. Kelly fell back into deep depression when Harper died, he was readmitted and Dr.Charles helped him through it. However he put all of that behind him, today was the 23rd of December. Due to everyone's busy schedules today was the only free day they all got to decorate the house. Kelly headed home and was greeted by Dawson and Casey
"Hey" Casey said as he smiled
"Did you visit her today?" Dawson asked as she handed Kelly a glass of eggnog
"Yeah I've missed her more today than I have in a while" Kelly explained as he saw Devin and miles walk down the stairs with the tree
"Let's get decorating!" Aria announced as she switched on some Christmas music
They all then dug in, Kelly was hanging some ornaments on the tree along with Dawson and Casey. Casey picked one up and smiled
"You kept this?" He asked as Kelly looked up
"Oh my god, she made this the year that she died" Dawson said
"She spent so long making that and she never got to hang it so I kept it" Kelly explained
The bauble was filled with tons of pictures of 51(see above) with glitter in it too. Devin came over
"Hey there's mom" He said as he carefully took the bauble from Kelly
"You all looked so young" Caroline added
"We must have been in our early twenties then" Dawson explained as she hung the last bauble on the tree
"Why don't we put this at the top of the tree? Instead of the star?" Devin suggested
"That sounds great" Kelly added as he smiled
After a long night the house was decorated perfectly, the kids had left, leaving Dawson, Casey and Kelly.
"You know maybe 20 years was a big enough break from squad 3?" Casey suggested
"Yeah Kelly, we need you back" Dawson added
"I can't go back there, there's too many memories. Like I met Harper there, we got married there and nearly had all of our kids there. I just can't face it" Kelly said as he took a swig of his beer
"Hey we get it" Dawson said as she smiled
It's the next morning and Kelly has just woken up, he cleans up the beer bottles from the previous night when he comes across his wedding picture. He had tried to hide it as he couldn't face to look at it, he then looked further and found his wedding scrapbook that Harper had made. He sat down and looked at the pictures. There was ones of him and Harper, Dawson and Casey, the bridesmaids and best men and the whole of 51. Kelly then smiled and put the book away. He then ducked into his bedroom and got ready. They were going out for lunch today as it's an annual tradition. His phone then started to ring and when he picked it up he saw and unknown number calling.
"Hello?" He answered as he sat on his bed
"Kelly..." A familiar voice said
"Harper?" Kelly asked, as his face went pale
"I'm alive Kelly" Harper said as Kelly's eyes widened
"Your what?!" Kelly yelled as his phone slipped out of his hand...
