A/N: This idea came to me at one point, while I was at work.. My daydreaming leads to weird stuff..
Please don't ask, cuz I don't know.

Y/N's POV
I couldn't wait to go home. It had been a long day, but luckily I would be finished soon. I had taken a part time job, cleaning backstage at the local arena. Of course that wasn't exactly the most prestigious job in the world, but it paid the bills and for now that would have to do.

I hadn't actually been to the concert that played that night, but I knew who had been performing. Hailee Steinfeld. I wish I could've heard her play, but sadly I couldn't make it.

The perks of cleaning backstage at this specific arena, was that I sometimes got free tickets. That didn't happen with this specific concert though. Even if I had gotten tickets to the show, I wouldn't have been able to go, since my friend got in an accident and I had to visit her at the hospital.

So now all I could do was clean up backstage and head home. Luckily Ms. Steinfeld was not a messy person, so this shouldn't take too long. All I had to do was take out the trash, mop the floor and clean the small bathroom.

-

I had just finished cleaning the bathroom and just needed to mop the floor. I swept across the floor and I was almost finished, when the light turned on in the hallway, scaring the living shit outta me. The sound of footsteps coming closer and closer, made my heart race. "Okay, this is it, this is the moment I die" I thought to myself, my eyes darting around the room, looking for literally anything to defend myself, the mop in my hands being the best option. I tightened my grip on the mop and said a silent prayer, seeing my life flash before my eyes. I didn't have much to live for besides my dog, but I didn't see that as a reason to give up. I admit that my life was kinda sad, but I still didn't want it to end so soon.

Suddenly a tall person, in a hoodie that covered their face, appeared in the doorway. I yelped by the sudden shock, causing the person to scream as well. Judging from the voice, I guessed that it was a girl. I held the mop up over my head, ready to smack the living shit out of the person, if they took as much as half a step closer.

"Who are you and what the hell do you want?!" I tried my best to sound tough, but the crack in my voice of course gave it away. I was terrified and I was pretty sure the mysterious person knew it too.

"Please calm down!" The person replied and pulled the hoodie away from their face. My eyes almost rolled out of my head, when I saw who the woman in front of me was.

"You're-" I tried to form a sentence, but I just couldn't. The stunning brunette chuckled softly and gave me a friendly smile.

"I'm Hailee, but I have a feeling you already knew that," The taller girl chuckled and winked at me, causing me to blush. "I'm sorry that I scared you, I didn't think anyone would be here. I just forgot my charger." She continued and pointed over at the small table in front of the mirror.

"That's okay. I'm sorry for screaming in your face.. and for threatening you with the mop." I replied, feeling incredibly embarrassed. Hailee just chuckled softly, before making her way over to get her charger.

"Don't worry about it. No one got hurt, that's what matters." She said with a playful smile, causing me to blush even more. "Again, I'm sorry for scaring you and interrupting your work.."

I realized I hadn't told her my name, "Y/N. My name is Y/N." I gave her a smile.

"Y/N," she repeated with a smile, "beautiful name.. for a beautiful girl."

I felt myself blushing hard, not trusting my own ears. It was late, I was tired; my mind was playing tricks on me. "oh well, uhmm.. I-I should get back to work.." I stuttered a bit, tightening my grip on the mop, feeling the nerves build up.

"Oh right. I'll get out of your hair. Anyways, it was nice meeting you, Y/N." Hailee smiled and gave me a small wave, before disappearing down the hall.

What the hell just happened?!

-

After finishing my work, I made my way out of the arena. I was so ready to go home and relax. It had been a long day, not to mention confusing. Like, what even happened back there? Hailee Steinfeld was in the same room as me. And she talked to me. Nono, it can't be true. It's all in your head. I mean, come on Y/N, Hailee Steinfeld talking to you? Get real.

My train of thought was cut off, when I saw a person standing in the middle of the parking lot. Hailee Steinfeld. I swear, this woman is haunting my imagination. She started walking towards me, that breathtaking smile of hers all over her face.

"Hey Y/N," Hailee said with a smile, as she stopped in front of me. Come on, Y/N, time to wake up. You know this isn't real. "Are you okay? You look like you have seen a ghost." The gorgeous brunette chuckled.

"Huh?" I blinked rapidly, not knowing what to believe at this point.

"Are you okay?" The slightly taller girl repeated with a soft smile, her beautiful hazel eyes searching mine.

"I- Are you real?" Wow, what a great reply, Y/N. Ten out of ten.

She let out a heartfelt laugh, "Yes, I am."

I felt my entire face heat up, I was probably red as a tomato at this point. "I'm sorry, I-" I couldn't even form a full sentence.

"Don't apologize. I get it, it's not every night Hailee Steinfeld shows up out of nowhere." She smirked at me playfully, making me blush even harder. "I'm kidding! Relax."

My mouth hung open slightly, as I tried to come up with a reply. "What.. umm.. what are you doing here?" I looked at her confused, "I thought you only needed to get your charger."

"Yeah, but then I ran into you," Hailee smiled softly, "and then when I got out here," she gestured around us, "I couldn't stop thinking about you."

My eyes nearly rolled out of my head, "What?!"

She chuckled once again, her eyes soft, "You're so cute," My blush was so far beyond tomato level at that point, not expecting her to say that. "Listen, you seem really nice and.." she trailed off, shifting her gaze away from me. She took a deep breath, before looking back at me, "you seem so nice and interesting. I don't usually like being threatened, but when you were about to smack me with your mop.." Was she really teasing me right now? What is happening? "..I dunno.. I found it rather cute." she giggled.

"I-" I was so confused. "Again, I'm sorry for that.. I don't know what came over me.. I guess, it was an instinct." I tried to explain myself, mentally facepalming myself for how stupid it all sounded.

Hailee just chuckled, like she had done so many times already, "It's okay, I forgive you," she giggled, her eyes sparkling, "My point was, that I was wondering if you had any plans.. right now?" She looked almost shy, as she spoke.

"I beg your pardon" I said, wide eyed, not believing my own ears.

She blushed slightly, before speaking up softly, "Wanna hang?"
