Don't Stand So Close to Me

Amusement Park

Some days after, Tsuruno came up with news

"Hey guys, there's a new amusement park in Kamihama. I've heard it's great, wanna go there?"

"An amusement park? Sounds like I may find delicious food there" Felicia was excited

"You seem to only think about food, Felicia-san" Sana answered

"It'd be a great idea, we don't hang out all together too often, what do you think Yachiyo-san?"

"I like how it sounds, wanna go today?" The veteran happily answered Iroha's question. This made everyone happy

"Yaayy"

"This could be an opportunity to tell Iroha how I feel"

At noon, they went there so they could spend the entire afternoon having fun

"Ok, let's reunite here at 6pm, until then everyone can do what they want" Yachiyo said as the leader

"Yay, I want to ride this rollercoaster. Let's go, Tsuruno" Felicia was the happiest

"I must go there as the mightiest magical girl"

Both of them left. The others went walking for a while until they found a place they liked. They eventually went to the haunted mansion. Yachiyo thought it was a good oportunity to get close to Iroha but Sana freaked out and she ended up hugging the veteran

While Felicia and Tsuruno were having fun together, Yachiyo couldn't find a moment alone with Iroha because Sana was following them everywhere since she is too shy

At around 5pm Felicia and Tsuruno came and told Sana about a Mr. Purrs-a-lot attraction. That made her excited and went with them, which left Yachiyo and Iroha alone

"This may be my chance" the veteran thought

"Yachiyo-san, it seems like we're alone, where would you like to go?"

"Mmm, what about the ferris wheel? (It's perfect to tell her the truth)"

"Ok, let's go there, we don't have much time left" Iroha answers happily

When they are finally inside the cabin, there's an awkward silence, at least Yachiyo thinks so

"This is more difficult than I thought, I'm nervous. What do I say?"

Iroha is the one who breaks the silence

"I had a lot of fun today, Yachiyo-san, what about you?

"I had fun too, this is the first time I hang out with friends in such a long time" she smiles, the pink-haired girl giggles

"You look happier than ever before, when we met you were so serious"

"Yeah, I was devastated after what happened with Mifuyu so I avoided everyone. But now I have all of you and that makes me happy" This made Iroha very happy

"I'm glad" but she changes her expression

"Is anything wrong?"

"I'm worried about Ui, I haven't found anything new about her in a while" she looks worried. Yachiyo smiles at her

"I know we will, we have a lot of friends to help us"

"Yachiyo-san, do you promise to find Ui?"

"Of course, we will find her" Yachiyo pats Iroha's head

"She's worried about finding her sister, maybe this isn't the moment to talk about my feelings" the veteran thought

The ride was over and it was late, they reunited with the others and went back to Mikazuki Villa. When it was finally time to sleep Yachiyo saw Iroha going to her room, she interrupts her

"Iroha"

"Yes?"

The veteran blushes a bit

"Are we going to be together even after we find Ui?"

"Of course, I will always come here to see you" the pink-haired girl smiles. Her answer makes Yachiyo so happy that she leans and kisses her forehead. She regrets it immediatly

"Yachiyo-san?"

"S..sorry, goodnight Iroha, I had fun today" she goes to her room while blushing madly

"Why did I do that?" she repeats in her head

Iroha touches the spot where the veteran kissed her

"This feels good"
