Don't Stand So Close to Me

Feeling awkward

Yachiyo and Iroha have been acting weird since that kiss, they haven't been able to talk to each other properly. Even staring makes both blush

It was evening and the veteran arrived from the university, just to see Iroha in the living room

"Hi... Iroha" she is nervous

"Eh... Yachiyo-san, hi" the pink-haired girl is nervous too, and tries not to look her in the eyes. The veteran goes to her room rapidly to avoid more awkward situations

Sana notices that they aren't acting as usual so she decides to talk to Iroha when they are alone

"Iroha-san, is something wrong?"

"Sana-chan, well... I feel like things are weird with Yachiyo-san"

She tells the shield girl about the kiss

"She kissed you? That's so cute. So that's why you can't talk to her"

"Yes, I don't know what to say. I liked it but what if she hates me?" Iroha is worried

"That's impossible. You two have been through a lot together, if you tell her how you feel she will understand"

"Thank you, Sana-chan. I will try to find a moment to talk to her"

Yachiyo wanted to confess her feelings to Iroha, but she didn't know how to, she needed some advice, so she agreed to meet with Mitama for the next day. The veteran went to the coordinator's place

"Hi Yachiyo, are you here to buy something?"

"You always think about money, don't you?" This makes the coordinator laugh

"It's just a joke. Anyway, why did you want to see me? Is there anything you want to talk about?"

"Yes, it's about... someone" the veteran blushes

"It's Iroha-chan right?"

"Wait how did you know?"

"Isn't it obvious? You and Iroha-chan are really close, I already knew you were into her" the coordinator is direct

"But, isn't it weird? We're both girls and she... she's 15" Yachiyo is embarassed

"There's no need to be ashamed, what if you are both girls? You love her and that's the only thing that matters"

"But... she's also underage"

"I get it, but I don't think that's bad as long as you treat her with respect. If you cross the line you can get in trouble and even worse, lose her trust. You will have to control yourself" Mitama gets serious

"How can I confess to her? I can't take this anymore, but it's hard to talk to her, specially after I kissed her" she blushes

"You did? Didn't see that coming" the coordinator tries to tease Yachiyo

"It was only in the forehead, I regretted it immediatly and left"

"At least it was only a kiss. I'm sure Iroha-chan will understand your feelings if you tell her the truth. She trusts you more than anyone"

"I'm afraid of losing control, I don't want to hurt her" the veteran is still worried

"That depends on you, I'm sure you will do the right thing"

At evening, Yachiyo returns home and looks for Iroha to bring this to an end. She waits for Felicia, Tsuruno and Sana to fall asleep

"Iroha?"

"Yes, Yachiyo-san?" both are nervous

"I want to talk to you about something..."
