CHARLIE
So. This place is pretty crowded. Right?
KELLY
Yeah. It didn't look this crowded outside.
CHARLIE
I know. There were so many open seats outside on the patio... Why didn't they sit us there?
KELLY
I mean. They gave us the option.
CHARLIE
They did?
KELLY
Were you not paying attention? They asked outside or inside.
CHARLIE
And you said inside??
KELLY
Well I looked at you and you didn't say anything!
CHARLIE
That doesn't mean pick inside!
KELLY
You hate sitting outside. You feel like it's not even at the restaurant.
CHARLIE
I mean. You're not wrong. There's flies and bugs out there. It's OUTSIDE. Not INSIDE. I like to be INSIDE the place I'm at.
KELLY
Exactly. So that's why I said inside.
CHARLIE
Yeah, but I also don't like to be surrounded by too many people. And look at us in here.
KELLY
To be fair, I had no idea it was this crowded when I picked inside.
CHARLIE
You could have asked.
KELLY
What?
CHARLIE
You could have asked if inside was too crowded.
KELLY
Is... Is that allowed? Do people ask that?
CHARLIE
Why wouldn't it be?
KELLY
I've never asked that question... I've never seen that.
CHARLIE
Well, it's like asking the waiter what they prefer on the menu. You could ask where they prefer to sit in the restaurant.
KELLY
I'm pretty sure most waiters don't eat at their own restaurants.
