Three days until Lan Wangji comes back. Wei Wuxian nursed and treated Lan Jingyi like his own. The boy not even bothered and he got used to calling Wei Wuxian his Fùqin. Lan Jingyi would often stand by him or hunt around near Lanling. Now, Jin Ling stands a bit far away from them. Watching Wei Wuxian treat Jin Ling the way a mother would to her son... Wei Wuxian turned around and gave Jin Ling a big smile.

"What are you standing there for, A-Ling?"

Jin Ling flinched but he let out a breath before walking towards them slowly. Jin Ling notices how big Wei Wuxians' stomach is getting, his skin was glowing more and his eyes looked more stressed.

"Well Young Mistress Jin is here."

"Who are you calling Young Mistress?!"

"Aiyya don't fight. I don't like noise."

Jin Ling rolled his eyes before standing besides Wei Wuxian, Lan Jingyi on the opposite side.

"What are you even doing here?"

"Watching the sunset."

"Whatever..."

Jin Ling closed his eyes and crossed his arms. It was really nice... Being in comforting silence. Just the birds and wind making the serene noise for you. Jin Ling leaned on Wei Wuxians' chest, the older male wrapping an arm around him and pulling him close.

"Are you tired?"

"A little..."

"I know that Sect work is hard, especially for a Fifteen year old like you. You know you can ask your Elders to do them for you, right?"

"I know..."

Jin Ling instinctively snuggled in.

"You're okay..."

"Of course, you're taking care of me, A-Ling."

"Young Mistress is moody but he cares for you, Fùqin."

"I'm just glad... That some things... Feel so nostalgic the way it is... Even though I lost this before..."

Jin Ling couldn't help but deepen the frown he had on his face, Lan Jingyi also curving the curve even more.

"Since you got pregnant, all you knew is whine."

"Hormones?"

Lan Jingyi rolled his eyes on Jin Ling.

"I don't know... I just feel... Fallen..."

Jin Ling couldn't help but let out a deep sigh.

"Jiujiu once said that if you were feeling sad, you wouldn't show it."

"It's not because Fùqin keeps his problems to himself, doesn't mean he can't voice it out."

"You-"

"What? You're just complaining that you keep on hearing him whine everyday! Why not let him go home and you'll probably get that peace and quite you want!"

"I'VE NEVER SAID THAT!"

"Then why do you keep complaining about him then?!"

"J-Jingyi... A-Ling... Let's calm down, okay...?"

"I DIDN'T SAY HE CAN'T COMPLAIN ABOUT WHAT HE FEELS!"

Jin Ling pushed Lan Jingyi, the boy returning a push.

"Then why?! Huh?! You keep on insisting on letting him stay but you keep on complaining about him!"

"WELL WHY DO YOU CARE?!"
