A function

Today's chapter includes a bit of my family part as well, I hope it's alright.
"Happy birthday, mom!" I said and hugged mom as she hugged back, patting right under my neck as she said a thank you.

"You know, Rose, even Toffy wished her today morning by waking her up and playing around her" dad chuckled as Toffy appeared, wagging his small fluffy tail at me.
"That's cute" I smiled.

After we had our breakfast and cut mom's cake, I took out my phone and clicked some pictures. Then we ordered our lunch and rested for some time after all the excitement.
I decided to check on the photos, sending it in our family group and then checking out my Instagram.

There he was.

I found it pretty nice of him to ask if I had any function, it meant he was interested to talk to me about anything

I found it pretty nice of him to ask if I had any function, it meant he was interested to talk to me about anything. Usually when I tell such stuff, they just say 'oh nice' or 'enjoy'.
Like what? I know I'll enjoy, I don't need your wishing for that. It's honestly annoying.
(

And by the way, this is also when Phil messaged me again. I told him the same and he went exactly how I told you: 'enjoy dear'
Who's your dear? Get lost, duh!

On the same day at night, he messaged a hi again. Why was he sending hi, we had already stopped abruptly at an emoji. However, he didn't reply that night and sent a photo the next morning, when I was in my math class.

If someone messages you just give them my account ID, ok?

Nick: put the story?
Me: done
His next message's second emoji caught me off guard, however. That emoji was usually used to express love, affection, friendship, or just gratefulness. I liked how he used that instead of 😍 or 😊, because the former is a bit too... You know, for close people, while the latter is not much of a 'thanks' emoji to me. I hope you understood, I just don't like them.

There was no one in my class named Arvind, actually

There was no one in my class named Arvind, actually. Then why did I lie?
That will be a twist in the next chapter.

Instead of screenshotting the message, he just forwarded it to me, so at first I thought he was telling it to me

Instead of screenshotting the message, he just forwarded it to me, so at first I thought he was telling it to me.
So who's the Arvind, why would he ask him about me? How does he even know we're chatting?

That, people, is going to be revealed in the next chapter.
That's when I heard my parents calling me and I rushed downstairs to see our lunch, fried rice, chicken fry and chilly chicken. Yum!
