BETH'S P.O.V

I smiled against Nathan's lips, happy that I had finally got them where I wanted them. Paired up with mine.

I tugged on his shirt as I pulled him closer to me, before he pulled away.

"Sorry. I should have pushed you off." Nathan mumbled as he moved his hands away from my waist.

I sighed quietly.

"Don't start this again. Saying that it meant nothing to you."

Nathan rolled his eyes before taking my hand.

"Come on, I'm taking you home." he told me.

My eyes widened. "I-I don't want to." I mumbled.

"Beth, you can't stay with me. You know what will happen if anyone found out." Nathan sighed.

"I didn't mean as in I wanted to stay with you, I just don't want to go home."

Nathan gave me a confused look. The only reason I didn't want to go home was because of David.

He was just creepy.

"Where does Lizzie live? I'll take you to hers." Nathan suggested, running his hand through his hair.

For the first time tonight, I looked at what he was wearing. Beige chinos and a dark blue shirt, with a Snapback on top.

He really did look like he was my age.

Not 6 years older.

"She lives over the other side of town." I lied.

Lizzie only lived 15 minutes away, but I wanted to stay with him.

Nathan sighed and looked at me.

"I shouldn't be doing this, but you can stay at mine tonight, then I'll drop you off home in the morning."

I smiled and nodded as Nathan walked towards his car.

"Should you be driving?" I asked, glancing over at him.

"Not really." he smirked slightly, being followed by a deep chuckle.

Shivers instantly ran down my arms and spine. Why did he have such a massive effect on me?

"Come on." I smiled slightly as I pulled on his arm. He followed me and took his hand in mine as we got into a taxi.

"Where to?" the driver asked, looking at me in his mirror.

I looked over at Nathan, who was beginning to fall asleep.

I giggled as I watched.

"Nathan?" I smirked, tapping the side of his face lightly.

"Erm, 72 Bridgewater Close" he mumbled, being followed by a quiet yawn.

I shook my head but smiled. For the first time in what seemed like ages, I was actually happy.

This one man that just made me smile every time I saw him.

After a short taxi ride, I paid the driver and helped Nathan out of the taxi.

I could tell he never normally went out drinking.

I pulled his keys out of his back pocket and looked at him as he widened his eyes.

"Ooh, cheeky!" He chuckled.

I laughed slightly and opened the door as Nathan stumbled inside.

I followed him as I closed the door behind myself.
