Alora was wearing a stunning rose gold silk slip on dress that had a slit till her mid thigh with a small diamond necklace and black strapped heels, it was a simple yet classy look and perfect for the wedding
As she made her way downstairs it was safe to say that everyone could tell the youngest Carrington was certainly a looker.
As Alora made her way downstairs she noticed her sister on the side wearing a black and white dress that she looked gorgeous in, standing next to her was Jeff Colby, a good friend of Alora's.
"Fallon you look beautiful" greeted Alora whilst giving her sister a hug and she then turned towards Jeff and Monica
"You both look amazing"
Jeff and Monica gave the girl a warm genuine smile "Well I think you look gorgeous Alora" spoke Fallon whilst gazing at her sister with love and awe as well as a strong sense of pride because Fallon remembers it only being yesterday when she used to play with her sister and till today they shared a unbreakable bond.
Fallon couldn't imagine a life without Alora because the truth was despite Alora being the younger sister she was Fallons rock and she couldn't imagine a life without her.
Jeff and Monica were about to return the compliment when they were distracted by a ring of a wine glass and all 4 individuals turned their attention towards the stairs where they noticed Blake and Crystal.
"Hello Thank you all for coming Everyone has been asking when Crystal and I are getting married We are thrilled to announce that we have picked a date and venue" There was a pause in which everyone was curious including Fallon until it was broken by Blake once again
"It's today, right here, and you all are invited"
Cheering and clapping echoed through the room with many whistles and even Alora supported a small smile on her face which both Crystal and Blake noticed and mirrored the girls expression.
Alora's attention was diverted when she heard her sister and the two Colby's having a conversation
"Wait a minute this is a surprise wedding"
"More like an ambush" whispered Fallon
Alora noticed that her father was outside with Crystal and they were waiting for her "Excuse me guys I'm needed somewhere enjoy the wedding and I hope you all have a lovely evening"
Alora made her way downstairs towards her father and Crystal when she was approached by the former.
Before Alora could get a single word out Crystal had begun "Alora I know we haven't known each other for long and you may not like me but I was wondering if you would be my bridesmaid, I understand if you want to say no but since me and Fallon aren't on good terms and I enjoy your company I was just wonderi.."
"Of course"
But it seemed as if Crystal had not heard Alora
"Wondering if you will just consider it and it's totally fine if you say no"
"Crystal I said of course, It would be an honour to be your bridesmaid"
Alora looked up at Crystal and saw the relief after her answer which Alora could guess came from the fear of her saying no to Crystals request but that idea seemed stupid to Alora as she was hoping she had made it clear to Crystal that she did indeed enjoy her company and was looking forward to her becoming her stepmother.
The wedding ceremony had gone exactly the way Alora had wished it was full of joy and happiness and the smile she had desperately wanted to see on her fathers face for a long time was finally their and Alora couldn't help but think that things were going to get better and perhaps in a sense she was right but god would she pay a trip to hell and back before the tranquility she desperately wanted would actually come.
Alora made her way towards Crystal and Steven who seemed to be in a deep conversation
"The first Mrs Carrington" came the voice of Crystal. Alora soon realised the conversation had something to do with their father and Alexis
Crystal looked up and gave the girl a warm smile which Alora returned what Crystal didn't expect was for Alora to pull her into a hug.
But it was reciprocated
They shared a moment before they broke apart and Alora greeted Steven whilst hugging him to she then noticed a third presence
"Hi I'm Alora Carrington" she gave out her hand to shake and the man in return shook hers with a smile
"Sammy Jo, Crystals nephew" That news surprised Alora as she had no ideas that Crystal had any family and she couldn't help but feel guilty for not knowing enough about her
"It's lovely to meet you Sammy Jo"
"Please call me Sam"
"Right Sam I hope your trip here was easy and I hope your enjoying the wedding" Sam was surprised by the girls sincerity as he had met the other Carrington who wasn't as welcoming. Alora noticing the look on his face she decided to speak up
"You seem surprised" Sam not wanting the girl to get the wrong idea quickly clarified
"Oh no that's not what I meant it's just that I met your sister earlier and it wasn't exactl.."
Steven and Crystal wore amused smiles whilst Alora glanced up at them and broke Sams rant "It's fine I was just joking Sam, I know my sister can be a bitch when you first meet but when you get to know her she warms up to you too I'm sorry about earlier"
Alora was about to continue but saw her father approaching her
"Alora I was looking for you I want you to meet someone" Alora seeing that it was important excused herself and followed her father
