Alexander had a strong urge to go inside but the logical part of him knew if anyone else had dropped a bomb like this on him he would need time to process it and he could understand that Alora would need time alone. All it took was the sound of glass shattering for Alexander's logic to fly out the window, and for him to run inside in search for Alora, a woman he hardly knew yet cared so deeply for and couldn't help but be intrigued by.

Alora lifted her head with great effort when she heard her door be jolted open. She looked up to be met with deep warm brown eyes that contrasted the most imaginative beauties but admist her admiration the tightening in her chest grew stronger and stronger which only made her want to close her eyes but the voice she could hear kept telling her not too.

Alexander shook Alora and tried his best to grab her attention, he knew what was happening and he was experienced in these matters after all it was not to long ago that he helped his own sister through one.                                                                                                                                                                 'Alora, hey Alora I need you to listen to me, listen to my voice and stay awake.' Muttered Alexander whilst slowly grabbing Alora and getting her to stand up.                                                              No matter how hard Alexander tried he couldn't find a way to bring Alora out of the strong haze she felt trapped in. He knew he had to do something to distract her and it had to be done fast because Alora wasn't responding to his voice.

She began to open her eyes and despite her trying to tell herself that she was breathing and that she was okay she couldn't tear her mind out of the stairwell of despair that made her think she was slowly loosing oxygen.

It was over, it was finally over and Alora looked up at Alexander knowing that this wouldn't of been possible without his help. Alexander felt a strong wave of relief wash over him as Alora stood up and grabbed the glass of water that was on the side and gulped it, he didn't know why he felt so relieved at this, of course he was no monster and he would never wish anything of the sort on anyone but he knew the feeling of pure relief when he realised that Alora was okay ran deeper then just a simple feeling.

Alora grabbed the hand that Alexander had given out to assist her in getting up and looked at him in the eyes before retracting her hand and allowing the feeling of warmth to diminish from both of there hands which left the two of them feeling empty. Alora quickly shook of the feeling and reminded herself that she was yet to thank him for what he had done for her                                   ' I- Thank you, thank you so so much you have no idea what this means to me, I don't know what was wrong with me, I guess I just needed time to process the news my father gave me'          Said Alora whilst giving Alexander a warm smile.

Alexander looked at Alora and couldn't help but allow a smile of his own to take over his features upon seeing hers.                                                                                                                                                                    'It's no problem Miss Carrington' replied Alexander whilst Alora was stood there processing what had just happened but she realised that she had been silent for too long as Alexander was looking at her wearing a worried expression                                                                                                              ' Ahh Mr Ranelwood please call me Alora'  stated Alora with a friendly smile and a light tone to indicate she was okay which Alexander soon returned                                                                                        'Only if you call me Alex'

There was a knock on the door which broke the two out of the trance they seemed to be stuck in

'Alora is everythink okay in there, do you need anything' asked Steven, who Alexander had been told was Aloras brother whilst gently shaking the door knob.

Alora was quick to approach the door and open the door knob to jump in to her brothers arm and hug him. Steven immediately reciprocated the hug Alora was giving without asking any questions as he knew Alora well enough to know that she would eventually tell him what was wrong and it seemed to be serious as despite Alora being the youngest she was never one to openely discuss her feeling and share any of her problems, that was just how she had always been from a young age.

Steven looked up to see Alexander Ranelwood a man who he recognised as his fathers acquaintance but he couldn't help but feel confused as to why he was in a room alone with his youngest sister and why he was in The Carrington Manor in the first place.

Alora moved away from her brother only to see confusion in his eyes whilst he looked at Alex that's when she realised that her Father had not yet informed anyone of the deal he had made.
