Your POV I was watering the flowers in my backyard. I made sure that they all had the equal amount of sunlight and the right amount of water. I then heard footsteps coming towards me. I turn around and see Pure Vanilla Cookie. I smile. "Hiya Hon." Pure Vanilla Cookie returns the smile and takes my free hand. "Hello my sunshine." He says, planting a soft kiss on my forehead. "How is everything?" I ask him, putting my watering can away and sitting down on a bench. Pure Vanilla Cookie sits beside me. "It has been well. But I have missed your presence." I smile and blush. "Awww. I missed you too!" I said, hugging his side. Pure Vanilla Cookie wrapped his arm around my waist. We enjoyed the silence and enjoyed each other's company. "Can you promise me something, Pure Vanilla?" I say, breaking the silence. He turns to me, "What is it?" I pause before I speak again. "Please promise me that you'll always be safe. I worry about you every time you go on expeditions with the other cookies. It makes me worry that you'll get hurt, and I can't do anything to help. I love you so much Pure Vanilla! I don't want you to get hurt." I finish, tears starting to form.
Pure Vanilla Cookie's POV I pull (C/N) into a comforting hug, holding them tight. "Of course I will! I always make sure that me and the other cookies are safe. But...I do also worry about you." I say. They look up me with confusion. "You worry about me? But I'm safe here in the kingdom. Why would you be worried?" They asked. I take in a breath. "I worry that even when I am on a mission, something might happen to you when I'm away." I say, my voice filling with sadness. (C/N) put their head on my shoulder. "That's not gonna happen." They said to me. Although I wanted to believe them, I still held worry. I placed a kiss on their forehead. "I love you, my dear." I told them. "And I love you as well." They say to me, snuggling closer to me. I promise that no matter where we are, I will always stay by your side. Always.
