Your POV I was walking along the railings to the Tower of Sweet Chaos, where Red Velvet Cookie would be. Red Velvet Cookie is my boyfriend, who is a sweet and caring cookie. Although he won't admit it, he has a soft spot towards me. I guess it's the same with his soft spot for the cake hounds. My hands reached the door and I gently pushed them. My nose sensed many different flavors. Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and blueberry. As I walked, I heard the sounds of the burning fire from the sacred oven. I was able to navigate pretty well around this particular area. I then heard a shuffle, then footsteps walking towards me. "Hello my love! I'm glad you could come." I immediately recognized the voice and I smiled, knowing it was Red Velvet Cookie. "Hi Red Velvet." I greeted as he took my hand in his, guiding me. I then heard the happy sounds of barking and the sound of tiny steps. One of them I recognized was Chiffon. I kneeled down and held out my hand. My hand was greeted by many small paws of the cakes. One came up to me and licked my face, which made me giggle. I felt Red Velvet Cookie sit beside me as I continued to pet the cakes. Chiffon then sat in my lap, me gently petting him. I felt Red Velvet's cake arm wrap around my shoulders, staying in a protective but comforting hold. I smiled but it soon faded, negative thoughts clouded my mind. "Love? What's wrong? Your eyes look saddened." Red Velvet spoke, worry in his voice. "I...." I began. A sigh escaped my lips. "I wish I could see. I wish I could see your face Red Velvet. But I'm cursed with the ability to not see, affecting my everyday life. Even though I am grateful that my other senses are heightened, I just wish I could see the world." I said, feeling a tear roll down my cheek. I felt Red Velvet's hand go up to my face and wipe away the tear. Red Velvet then kissed my forehead. "I know my love, I wish as well for you too see. But I am...not sure how you would react to my appearance. For I would feel as though I would be....out of place, if you will." Red Velvet told me. I could hear the insecurity in his voice, which made me sadden. I took hold of his cake arm that was still around my shoulders. "I have told you many times Red Velvet. I do not care that you are half cake, I love you dearly and close to my heart. I do not know what I would do without you." I reassured him. He pulled me closer to him, kissing my cheek. "Thank you my love. When did I get so lucky to have you?" I smiled and blushed at his words. "I should be the lucky one. You have been so kind despite my ability to not see." I told him, happiness within my words. I leaned on Red Velvet's shoulder, feeling his warmth. His hold on me had tightened, never wanting to let go of me. I smiled, cherishing this moment. Being around him made it all the worth while. Small moments like this make me glad to be by his side.
