When memory goes
All that's left is emotion
A very dangerous terrain
Could ruin your saneness
Trying to win the loss
Reviving what's been gone
Holding back the resisting
Caging what wants to be free
Trouncing away the torment
Repudiating the fondness
Staring dreadfully at the ceiling
Carrying empty feelings
Consumed with pettiness
Having a finite hope
But infinite doubt and loathing
Gone to the downfall
Trying to calm the storm
Controlling the unruly beasts
Going in the circle of nowhere
Achingly hoping for something new
As the moon rises
And the darkness descend
We aim for the sun
And the light to soar
But in the darkness
We learn to love the moon
And began to abhor the sun
As it represents a new day to end
