MUCH TO ASTER'S dismay, Fury pulled her from Tony's case directly after her part of the mission was complete. Of course, she had argued with him, saying that she had every right to help come up with a permanent cure for Tony's palladium poisoning.
But then Fury told her that an extraterrestrial satellite was found in New Mexico. He wanted her and Clint to travel down there and meet Phil Coulson for the investigation.
And Aster couldn't argue that. There were never any cases about anything extraterrestrial on Earth, not since her own.
It was dark by the time they landed in New Mexico. Phil sent over the information so that the two agents could debrief themselves in the car on the way to the research center.
