The "love potion"

Third person's POV:

In a small town called Happy Tree ville, a light blue anteater was working on a new experiment. He needed some assistance with his little project however. So he decided to invite his best friend and someone else he knew to assist him. The three of them were now in the anteater's laboratory experimenting with various inventions and chemicals.

Flaky's POV:

I looked around the room seeing many  life-threatening machineries and gadgets. Honestly I don't know what I'm even doing here.  

I want to go home but I'd feel guilty showing up to help someone and ending up not doing anything and just leaving

I only came here because...Nutty asked me if I was free. I thought he wanted to go out like the last time. It was nice even though our time was short...ugh Flaky why are you so dumb?!

-"You have so many cool gadgets Sniffles!"praised Nutty who was looking at a big ray gun

-"Thanks! This baby is called the Sizer 2000. It can change the size of any solid, making it as tall as a skyscraper or as small as a molecule!"

-"Woah! Hey you can make us giants then we can pretend to be Godzilla and King Kong!"

-"Hmmm... I haven't tried using it on a live specimen yet...but that'll have to be for another time unfortunately. What I really wanted you both to assist me with is this!"

Sniffles guides me and Nutty to a small room with many viles, beakers and chemicals sitting on a wide work desk

He handed me and Nutty a vile each containing different substances. Mine was a green fluid and Nutty's was a light pink color

-"So I want you two to drink the liquid inside those viles and then describe to me how you feel after consuming it, but only drink half of it."

-"Why only half?" I asked

-"Well incase there is no effect, we could try other ways to use it without having to make another batch."Sniffles said answering my question

I drank the green substance until half of it was gone.

-"So how is it?"questioned Sniffles 

-"BLEEGH! It taste so bland! It could use a little sugar. By little I mean a TON of sugar "Nutty complained

-"Well mine's pretty minty now that I think of it"

-"Oooh wanna trade?"

-"Don't do that! You'll end up mixing the two elixirs inside of you and might end up damaging your internal organs!"

-"your no fun..." Nutty quietly pouted 

-"Well do you feel any changes?"asked Sniffles 

-"I guess my heads kind of dizzy?"

-"Hhm...well know that you mention it I do feel kind of hun-*BLEEEEEEEEEUUUUUGHH*"

Nutty started to puke uncontrollably on the ground. Me and Sniffles took him to the guest bathroom so he would get better and then came back to the small laboratory. 

-"So A06 causes vomiting..."Sniffles mumbles to himself out loud while writing on a check board

-"Now let's try applying it"

After 2 hours of experimenting, we discovered two things:

The pink serum: (A06)

 Negative symptoms:

Stomach pains, vomiting, irritated skin, body temperature rising and can cause limping

Positive symptoms: 

Clears throat, betters hearing and helps with amblyopia in some way (it helps clear the vision of the lazy eye but doesn't fix its appearance)

The green serum:(A03) 

Negative symptoms:

Light-headedness, watery eyes and irritates teeth

Positive symptoms:

Can heal burns at an alarming rate and calms nerves

At one point during the experiment we switched the serums to see if the results would be any different. And to our surprise, there was a drastic difference

When Nutty had the pink serum, the consequences were always bad but when I had it, it almost had no effect at all (except when I drank it and made my temperature rise)

We concluded that the pink serum would have grave consequences on males or squirrels and that the green serum was partially harmless

When we learned this, I noticed Sniffles was upset about the results of the pink fluid

-"So what were you planning to do with these serums dr. Sniffles? "

-"You can just call me by my name Flaky, there's no need to be so formal" Sniffles chuckled 

-"Well I was planning to use it on....someone"

-"What were they supposed to do?" I asked 

-"The green one was supposed to help calm anxiety which was a great success. As for A06 it was supposed to...." Sniffles face started to turn a shade of red as his ears slightly drooped downwards 

-"to do what-*DING DONG*" as I was asking him a question, the door suddenly rang from upstairs

Nutty was in the bathroom cleaning up after the last test and the doctor seemed busy with his thoughts, so I took it upon myself to answer the door.

I went up the stairs and made my way to the entryway to open the door. 

When I place my hand on the doorknob, for some unexplainable reason, my instincts were telling me to get far away from the door infront of me.

I ignored them and opened the door to my surprise:

-"Hey Sniffles I was wondering if you have my pi- huh?" he looks down at me "F-Flaky!?" 

-"MR. F-FLIPPY!!?"
