pink or purple?

the first two classes went by fast and now it was time for lunch. me and ryujin made our way to the cafeteria to eat. the place was packed as students filled every table. the tables were coved in a sticky residue making my skin crawl. since me and ryujin had our own lunches, we had no reason to be there to just stand around, so we both decided to make our way outside where the remaining students took of to. while walking around, we found some lunch tables that were empty, surrounded with flowers and giant bushes that almost shielded the place.

despite there being quite heavy rain the night before, the seats were completely dry. the place was beautiful, and as soon as we sat down , we fell instantly at peace. lunch lasted for half and hour so we had time to spare. while looking around at the flowers, i noticed a small path leading from behind the trees. as soon as i stepped apon the grassy path, i shivered. this place gave off a weird vibe. ryujin was following and felt it too, grabbing onto my arm. 

''are you sure we can even be around here'' she was looking all around. i just shrugged. the path got darker as the trees stretched over us, blocking the sunlight from seeping in except in some cracks .ryujin was still holding my arm when a small shiver ran through me as i heard something. the sound of someone crying. i thought i was hearing things until ryujin started to hold tighter onto me. ill admit i was scared but i felt as if my body was moving without my control. as we were walking, i felt something drop onto my cheek. since we were covered with trees, my first thought was that it was water but the foul smell that followed distinguished my thoughts. i felt like i had control again and grabbed ryujin and ran, but as we ran the wailing got louder until it stopped as we left the grassy path we had started on. i was there trying to breath when ryujin stared at my face, horror was plastered apon her face.

 ''i-is that blood?'' i went and wiped my face with my finger and stared at the thick liquid that dripped onto the pavement below me. i couldnt believe it and i didnt want to either. but then a piercing ring ran throughout the entire school boundaries.

 fuck.

 class was starting. we ran to our lockers and grabbed out books and ran to our next classes, which were together. thankfully, we had the excuse that we were new and still hadnt found our way throughout the school, and the teachers bought it. the entire english class, my mind was focused on what happened.

 again, classes went by fast and it was time for lunch again, this time it was for an hour. we went outside again and i convinced ryujin to sit in the little spot like before. halfway throughout eating, ryujin got up to use the bathroom, leaving me to mind her things.my eyes kept wandering over to the path, trying to find a way to persuade ryujin to go down there again. i decided to get up and just look around it. from the outside, it looked just as bright as up here, if not brighter. there looked to be small cottage at the end, with apple trees surrounding it.ryujin had came back and i finally got her to come down with me after showing her how it looked at the bottom, but she kept laughing at my words. as soon as we stepped on the path again, the shivers grew, along with the darkness. i didnt move, just stood at the edge of the path in case anything happened. the image i had seen before had warped, leaving a old ruin of that once cottage and dead looking trees around it. but the more i looked, i saw a girl crying sitting on the ground beside the house. ryujin was staring at the place i was, but she didnt seem too fazed. 'its just darkness, i have enough of this for today'' i stared at her a bit weird. ''the house that was there is all in ruins, cant you see it?'' ryujin put her hand to my face and checked my temperature. ''willow, there is nothing there'' she laughed, probably thinking i was joking.

''no, there is something there. the house, the girl.. cant you see that?'' she saw the dead seriousness in my eyes and just stopped. ''are you ok willow? maybe the blood got you a bit dazed''

''no! cant you see them?'' i spoke a little loud causing the girl to face me, eyes piercing through me. my heart started to freak out, while ryujin was just staring at my face, seeing how scared i looked. the girl stood up, and before i knew it, she had disappeared, leaving her loud screeches, which both ryujin and i heard. we quickly exited the path and ryujin hugged me. neither of us expected our first day of school to be like this, filled with horror.
