With the limo making its way off, you sit in silence with everyone else, making a small analysis of the area. In front of you, there's a large assortment of candy, and it looks so much better than how it does on the Isle.

Evie's already helped herself, grabbing a stick of rock candy that matches her colors, and, with a glance from the boys, the three of you immediately follow after her and dig in, grasping onto just about everything on the upper shelf.

While the boys shove everything they took into their mouths at once, you actually take the time to sort out each piece, trying them out one by one to see which ones you favor.

"Mm," Carlos hums in delight, holding up something shaped like a little cup. "It's salty like nuts, but sweet like...I don't know what."

You glance at it, judging it. "Why's the outside of it look like...smooth dirt?"

"Lemme see," Jay says, to which Carlos turns around, holding his mouth open to show him the chewed candy.

Jay groans in disgust, before shoving his face aside and grabbing what was in his hand. You reach forward, too, breaking off a piece before he can bite into it, wanting to try it for yourself.

"Hm. Not bad," you hum. "Got nothin' on these, though." Holding up a handful of gummy worms--which are a perfect mix of both sweet and sour--they both pluck a couple from the bunch. "I don't know how they make these, but I want more."

While they gorge on more candy, you're working on dumping something out of one of the containers in your backpack so you can fill it with the gummy candy. No way you're not coming back with those.

"Look!" Evie's voice makes you look up in alert, and all of a sudden, you're all very aware of how the limo is edging towards the end of the broken bridge without stopping.

"It's a trap!" Carlos screams. Everyone begins panicking, curling in and up to each other, crying out in fear as you wait for your completely uncalled for demise.

But, it never came?

Instead of dropping down to the bottom of the deep waters below like you'd thought would happen, there was an engulfing shimmer of golden magic surrounding the way, crafting a bridge to cross over into Auradon.

"We... aren't dead?" you murmured, sitting up as everyone begins to slowly relax from the jumpscare.

"It must be magic!" Evie squeals, looking around with awe dancing across her features.

"Hey!" Mal turns around, tapping on the edge of the divider window with some sort of remote she'd been messing with in order to get the attention of the driver. "Did this little button just open up the magic barrier?"

"No," he replies, holding up a remote of his own, its color similar to the magic floating around. "This one opens up the magic barrier. That one opens my garage." He then reaches up, his finger hovering over a different button. "And this button..."

Pressing down it, he rolls up the divider window, much to everyone's amusement.

"Okay," Mal chuckles, properly leaning back in her seat. "Nasty~ I like that guy."

After a while of driving, the limo finally arrived in Auradon. When it turns a corner, you get a good view of the large school, not to mention the even larger band and crowd of people playing what you assume is welcoming music.

"All this noise on the first day is completely unnecessary," you murmured.

Pulling up to the entrance, the driver of the vehicle steps out, opening the door to the backseat to let all of you out as well. Jay and Carlos are the first to stumble out, wrestling their way out of the car as they fight over something they were both clutching in their hands for dear life.
