I'm sure you've heard of this before.
Well- probably a lot of times already.

The myth of greek mythology.

That myth, as Plato stated, where humans were initially created with four arms, four legs, and a head with two faces. Quite fascinating huh? They were inseparable until, the god of the sky, Zeus, feared the power that these humans could hold knowing the fact that well, they were complete.

So then, he split them apart.

Silly Zeus.
But he wasn't wrong.
Besides, who knew what power they could possibly hold?

In our dimension, one of the gods gave us mortals, a chance— a chance to find our other half with less worry.
However, everything has its own consequences.

And all it takes is the universe to bring them together with one red string, a string that would open each other's emotions and bond.

The red string will connect you two, emotionally. It will unlock something inside you and allow you to feel what your soulmate is feeling.

Kinda cool huh? It's like you two are complete again, but with much freedom too (regarding the fact that you both are still kind of your own people).

I imagine someone saying, "the world is massive and there are billions of human beings so how would it be possible that anyone would pass by their soulmate by chance?" I'd just say, let the universe do the work.

The thing is, though.
When that day comes, when the universe allows you to meet your other half. You need to talk to your soulmate right away as soon as you follow the red string that leads you to them, or else you'll lose them, and only then will fate decide whether you'll see each other again.

As I said, consequences.

Sometimes, they cross paths again, sometimes they don't, for what feels like forever, at least.

That's why most of us gave up on looking for our "one and only."

It's when we'd just start dating random strangers while baring with our soulmate's sudden emotions overtaking us or just start taking photographs as I feel my soulmates' sudden enthusiasm.

Ha...

It's just distractions until we, at least, hope, to see them again.

Until we find them again.
